Pairing :
Leroy Jethro Gibbs X Reader
( crossover with Madam Secretary)
JETHRO’S POV:
“Good Morning love” I say caressing Y/N’s hair as she lay against my chest.
“ Good morning Darling.” She says grinding against my hardness , gently stroking it .
We kiss as she runs her fingers through my hair.
“ Sweetheart” she says “ we are gonna be late for work.”
“ Well I can be a bit late”, I say getting on top of her, rubbing her clit pushing in my fingers inside her pussy. As she got right at the brink at the edge, I pulled my fingers away ,getting up.
“ gonna be late for work” I smirked.
“ Leroy Jethro Gibbs , you get your cute butt over here right now and fuck me” Y/N fumed.
“ Aren’t you gonna be late for work ?” I grinned
“ Jethro” she groaned. “ Oh Fuck I can be late one day”.
“ Good” I said going down on her and eating her out. I flicked my tongue up and down, lapping up her juices. I sucked on her clit and thrust my tongue in her. “ Ohh fuck. Ohh fuck” she moaned “ Jethro fuck. Yeah on yes. Jethro Oh Jethro” she screamed as she came.
“ Yummy . Such a lovely breakfast” I said as she pulled me up to kiss me. I lined my dick along her pussy , rubbing my tip along her clit. Then rubbing my cock along her pussy a few times I entered her. She pulled me close, wrapping my legs around my waist. I took off her hoodie, well technically mine and nibbled her nipples. This made her clench around my cock as she arched her hips towards me. We both were close. I took her mouth in mine , grabbing her hips and thrusting deep. She came and I followed her. We held each other as we panted against one another.
“ This is a really good morning “ I grinned kissing her forehead.
“ Yep” she giggled as we claimed each other’s lips.
….
Late in the afternoon I saw Y/N walking towards the bullpen.
“ What brings you here love? Miss my cute butt?” I smirked.
“ Jethro” she tried to glare at me, but ended up turning red. “ No silly.” She giggled .” State wants update on the positions of your Navy ships , and the signal intelligence that you have gathered.” “ Though you do have a cute butt.” She chuckled.
“Actually Blake, Jay and Nadine is also here. This is top priority for state . You know keeping the Indian Ocean and the South China sea safe.”
…..
“Reader’s POV:
“ So what do you think is up with boss?”Tony said
“ what?” I asked.
“ He is not grumpy. He is smiling, laughing. I think there’s a woman .” Tony mused.
“ Yeah boss is so cheerful. He is being pretty tolerant to Tony’s nonsense too.” McGee said.
“ You mean less forceful headsmacks?” I chuckled.
“ Less frequent too.” Ziva observed.
“ Maybe it’s the new coffee ?” Palmer mused.
“ Well it still sucks “ I said sipping the bland NCIS coffee.
“ Yeah that’s true” Nick nodded.
“ Maybe it’s the fresh coat of orange paint on the walls” Kate reflected.
“ Can’t be.” Ellie said .” It’s more tackie”.
“ He looks smitten” Jessica commented. “ Maybe it’s a woman only”
“ He looks like a man in love.” Ducky observed.
“ I tell you it’s a woman” Tony nodded. “ Did you see the hickey peaking out from under his collar.”
Shit ,I am responsible for that hickey. Last night in the throes of passion ,I was pretty wild. There’s more than one hickey. Good thing they don’t know that. Atleast mine are hidden by my turtleneck.
“ Well he is really sexy. So hot. Anyone , I mean any woman will love to be with him.” Blake sighed. “ He can get laid anytime he wants.”
I smacked Blake. Well serves him right. Keep your eyes off my Gibbsy.
“ Ouch” he said. “ What was that for?”
Truth was I was jealous when Blake called Gibbs hot and Sexy. I mean I know about how Blake has got a man crush on him . Well Gibbs is hot and sexy , but only I got to call him that.
“ For being stupid. He won’t be smitten with any woman.”
“ So what kind of woman would Gibbs be smitten with. Come on Y/N you read people . Analyse him.”
“ What and get myself smacked in the head.” I joked. “ Probably someone who likes the smell of coffee and sawdust “ I chuckled , knowing fully well how I like that smell on Gibbs.
“ Come on . Let the man be in love without us butting our heads” Nadine said.
“ Now while you are gossiping , I need to get this file signed by him.” “ Maybe I will ask him who’s the woman?” I laughed.
I walked into the Director’s office. Since the director is in a NATO summit , Gibbs is filling in on him.
“ You know you have become the talk of the town” I laughed. “ They think you are so cheerful cause you are in love.”
“ I am in love. I love you Darling.” He said pulling me into his lap.
“ Jethro Rule 12?”
“ Well you work for the State Department so we are okay” he chuckled and kissed me.
“ So it’s okay to make out in the office , I guess” I said laughing.
“ Yep love” he said as he nuzzled at my neck.
“ So be ready around 7 for our Date” he said. “ We are going to the nice little Chinese place that you love so much.
“ Okay. You will go out first , then I will follow. I will walk around a bit before you pick me up. There are trained investigators who are observing you. We don’t want to get caught do we?” I giggled adjusting his collar. “ Ohh hide that Hickey. Tony already noticed it.”
“ I think I like that Hickey on me” he smirked.
….
“Y/N “Nadine said. “ We are all going to grab dinner? You coming.”
“ Nope , got plans tonight “. I said.
“You have applied your favourite wine lipstick, the smoky eyes, you are going for a date aren’t you?”
“ Yep”
“ From your makeup , I figure you are getting laid tonight.”
“ Yep.” I blushed
“ So who’s the mystery guy” Blake asked huddling closer with Nadine so others can’t hear.”
“ Mystery Guy” I chuckled.
“ Don’t forget to use a condom”
“ Nadine!”
“ What just make sure that the Dick inside you is shielded. Just tell him to wrap his willy” she laughed.
“ Maybe you could lose the turtleneck, wear something plunging. I have a spare blouse in my bag”.
“ Can’t Nadine, gonna have to wear the turtleneck “.
“ Why? You mean there are hickies?”
“ I mean this Dick rocks my world and last night he kinda left evidence of it here” I say rubbing my neck and collarbone.
I saw Gibbs walking down the stairs. He looked at me and winked in a way no one else notices. I softly smiled , biting my lips before I start grinning like an idiot.
“ Hey Boss , wanna grab Dinner”. Tony asked.
“ Got plans DiNozzo”
“ Wait Jethro, is that a dress shirt that you are wearing? What’s with a tie?” Ducky asked.
“ Boss ? Is that Cologne ,I am smelling?” Tony asked amused.
Gibbs smirked and made his way to the elevator.
“ I told you it’s a woman” Tony said.
“ Ok guys , while you are speculating on a guy’s love life, I actually got my end of the paperwork done, so off I go, enjoying my love life” I giggled making my way out of the bullpen.”
…
“ I can’t believe you ordered Wine Jethro. I mean you are a total Bourbon and Scotch guy.”
“ Well the wine is for special occasions” he smirked.
“ So what’s the special occasion ?” I asked.
“ You winning the national book critics Circle award”.
“ It’s just an award.”
“ Well I am proud of you love” he said. “ I want to pamper you”.
He pulled me close and taking my hands into his , he gently bushed his lips against my fingers.
“ Btw what’s up with the Cologne.”
“ It’s for you love”.
“ Well I like it. But I do like sawdust and coffee more” I blushed. “ It’s kind of hot”.
He leaned in , taking my lips into his shoving his tongue inside me.
“ Boss, Y/ N” I heard Tony.
“ Guys” I said embarrassed .
“ So you are with Gibbs?” McGee asked surprised.
“ You two are playing tonsil tennis so that means ..”Tony trailed off.
“ That means you are Gibbs’ s woman.” McGee concluded.
“ Yep, guys meet the love of my life” Gibbs said holding me close. “ I Love you Y/N.”
“ Ahh I love you so much” I whispered.
“ Wait that means … he is the Dick that rocks your world”
“ Blake” I warned feeling embarrassed.
“ Wow it’s great .You two are in love.” Abby said excitedly.
“ We had no idea. Right under our noses”Ziva chirped.
“ Well I totally missed the signs. Thinking of it why are you wearing a turtleneck in this weather Y/N.” Kate asked
“ Guys I think we should let the lovers go on with their date. You hold on to her Jethro” Ducky said.
“ I plant to. Forever” Jethro said kissing me on my cheek.

Gibbs’ Rule #8: Never take anything for granted. That one hit us hard when Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), the sometimes grumpy but always gutsy special agent in charge of NCIS, unexpectedly retired to go fishing in Alaska in 2021. We’ll get another chance to appreciate the “grab your gear” guy in NCIS: Origins, a 1991-set prequel in which the young Gibbs (Austin Stowell) starts work at what was then known as NIS at the Camp Pendleton office in California. The icing? Harmon returns to narrate.
“Mark Harmon has done a job that actors dream to do. He’s captured the world and so that is just slightly daunting,” says Stowell who watched numerous episodes to prepare. “But getting to know Mark has really been paramount to me stepping into these shoes and trying to fill them.”
Harmon’s key words of advice to Stowell were “trust yourself.” Harmon also acknowledges the challenge for an actor to play an existing character, saying, “This is a little different because some things are already in place and an audience knows where this leads years ahead.”
The idea for the series came from Harmon’s son Sean, who’d played the younger Gibbs in NCIS flashbacks. “I believe that very few people are actually ‘born leaders’ and are instead forged into them, and Gibbs is no exception,” says Sean Harmon. “Digging into the backstory of ‘the boss’ seemed like a good opportunity to find out why Gibbs turned out the way he did and who was around to influence him on that journey.”
Mark Harmon suggested the best people to create the series would be longtime NCIS writers David J. North and Gina Lucita Monreal who executive produce and are co-showrunners. They asked the senior Harmon to narrate.
The two-hour premiere introduces a Gibbs fresh back from Desert Storm, grieving the loss of his wife and daughter and trying to get his bearings with a new team. One of them is a younger version of a face familiar to NCIS fans, Gibbs’ confidante, Special Agent Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid, Six, in a role originated by Muse Watson as the older Franks).
“Franks is the one who brings Gibbs into NIS. It was an opportunity to perhaps save a lost soul,” says Schmid who emailed and spoke with Watson as part of his preparation. “Taking on a character played by such a wonderful actor is a bit of a challenge. You have to play by a certain set of rules. The mustache is a trademark of Muse’s. I wear dark brown contacts every day at work. I took on a dialect coach, so Kyle Schmid now sounds like Mike Franks all the time.”
The rest are new characters including Special Agent Cecilia “Lala” Dominguez (Mariel Molino).
“I’m interpreting someone who’s a former Marine, now a female agent at NIS and I’m excited to jump into that, especially in the Nineties, which is such an incredible era,” says Molino. “I love that there are no [cell] phones, no internet, no social media. Everything we portray is direct contact.”
So will any romance develop between her and Gibbs? “I’m trying to prove myself. It’s not a romantic vibe,” Stowell says. “They are kindred spirits, both bullheaded, stubborn and smart. They say opposites attract. So, what happens when people are the same?”
Gibbs’ first friend on the force is someone who’s not much like him at all: Special Agent Bernard “Randy” Randolf (Caleb Foote). “Gibbs is a bit of a lone wolf. Randy’s a bit of an extrovert. In this naval investigative setting, there’s hundreds of people, half of them in camouflage because it takes place on Camp Pendleton, and Gibbs is a deer in the headlights. Randy sees that and immediately goes out of his way to make this person feel welcome. We create a friendship pretty quickly,” Foote says. “It’s cool to create a character that helps Leroy Jethro Gibbs to become the great detective that he is.”
Not in the field but equally important in solving cases are the assistant medical examiner Dr. Lenora Friedman (Lori Petty, Orange is the New Black), and the head of the NIS forensics lab, Woodrow “Woody” Browne (Bobby Moynihan, Saturday Night Live).
“I’m the goofy scientist who figures out weird stuff. It’s like working with the Muppets, you immediately realize you are not the important part. You’re just there to make the Muppets look awesome,” says Moynihan, of supporting the NIS team. “I’m splicing a lot of videotape. I have a hundred million [paper] files. I don’t have a laptop. They show the old tech.”
The first case will focus on a series of interconnected murders “that bounce off of our characters in a really emotional way,” North says. Adds Monreal, “Gibbs is thrown into this job and he’s in over his head, but in a way, this case is tailor-made for him, so he has an opportunity to shine.”
We’ll see a lot more emotion from the younger Gibbs than we’re used to as longtime NCIS fans. “The Gibbs that Gina and I wrote for so many years had learned to push it all that emotion down. This Gibbs hasn’t learned that yet,” says North.

sons of love and death, 7/13 {CSSNS 23}
Summary: After the Final Battle, Killian Jones had finally settled into his happily ever after with his wife and family. Until a new foe arrived in Storybrooke: the infamous Dorian Gray, who looks rather familiar—one might say identical—to the pirate, and he’s on a mission: to claim the powers of the Dark One for himself. There’s only one problem: the Dark One no longer exists. What follows is a journey of vengeance, revelations, magic, and finally facing down the darkness within himself that Killian thought he’d finally put to rest. [roughly canon divergent from 5B, though set post-canon] A/N: Greetings from band camp! But that won't stop me from updating my @cssns story! Hope everyone is having a great week! (As always, thanks to the best beta, @optomisticgirl !) rated M | 5.1k words | AO3 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6
Dorian hadn’t been seen since his encounter with Regina the previous morning, but Killian knew better than to let his guard down. Every time the bell rang in the library, Killian was alert, ready for the worst (even if logically he knew his twin wouldn’t announce his presence—though, they did share an affinity for melodrama…). And he’d put on his sword belt for the first time in ages, for both comfort and protection.
He was reshelving a few books when the bell chimed again. He paused to listen, but was mildly surprised when Leroy’s voice rang out in the otherwise quiet library—and sounded more than grumpy. “What the hell, pirate?”
Confused, Killian shoved the book in his hand on the shelf and quickly made his way to the lobby. “Watch the volume, mate,” he chastised. “What’s the problem?”
Leroy was glaring at him and huffing. “Don’t pretend you don’t know; I saw you! Taking a joyride on my boat this morning, using all my gas, and then you just left it adrift. It almost ran into the shipping lane!”
“Why would I take your dinghy when my ship is right there?” Killian countered. “It was probably my good-for-nothing brother.”
“Then why was he dressed like you? And I saw your hook!”
He rolled his eyes; of course Dorian would find a new way to make trouble for him. “Well it wasn’t me! I’ve been here all day, and my wife can provide my alibi prior to that—in detail, if you’d like,” Killian threw back, biting back a smirk at the memory of what they’d gotten up to in bed that morning.
“No thank you,” he responded, stepping back with his hands up. “Just—keep that asshole in check, okay?”
“He’s not my responsibility.”
“Whatever,” Leroy grumbled, and left as quickly as he’d arrived.
Killian was irked by the encounter. Not so much at Dorian’s antics, annoying though they were (and would probably need his attention at some point)—but he was somewhat perturbed by the fact that Leroy was so quick to assume it had been him. There was definitely a time he may have done that, but now? After everything in the past few years? Did the dwarf truly still think so little of him?
He shook his head; Leroy didn’t have much faith in anyone. It was just a stupid misunderstanding; perhaps he’d go down to the docks and see if he could use his powers, meager as they were, to tow the boat back into harbor. But it was nothing to be truly upset over, not on his end.
The day went on without further event and the encounter was nearly out of his mind when he ran into another dwarf outside the sheriff station. Sneezy was coming from the opposite direction and reached the door before he did, but then paused and faced him.
“Uh, Captain,” he started, then characteristically sneezed. He went on after wiping his nose on his ever-present handkerchief. “I was about to report what happened earlier, but I’d be happy to settle now, if you want—if you’d rather Emma not know.”
“Know what?”
“About the rum you stole,” he said matter-of-factly. “You didn’t exactly hide it.”
Killian scoffed; he’d never been impressed by the rum selection at the pharmacy, nor was he desperate enough to shoplift subpar liquor. “I’ve been at the library all day, mate; you should hit up my lookalike for the cash. Or go ahead and report it; may as well add to his rap sheet.”
The dwarf tilted his head, confused. “But—your hook—and clothes—”
“—Are easy to replicate with magic like his,” Killian sighed. “Really, mate? I thought you knew me better.”
Sneezy at least looked a bit like his brother Bashful at that, then uttered a quick apology before nearly running back in the direction from which he’d come.
Killian pinched the bridge of his nose, again frustrated.
It didn’t stop there, though—on the entire walk from the station to Granny’s with Emma, he was on the receiving end of glares, muttering, and people keeping their distance. Granted, that was typical treatment from the gaggle of fairies they passed, given their history.
But even mild-mannered Gepetto, upon his exit from the diner, turned suddenly angry at the sight of Killian and wasted no time getting in his face and yelling in his native tongue. Killian was skilled at languages but not well-studied in that one, save for a few curse words—all of which he heard in the tirade.
The carpenter didn’t give Killian a chance to reply before storming off, leaving him fatigued and Emma confused. “What the hell was his problem?” she griped.
“No clue—but I’m willing to bet it was my brother; that’s been happening all afternoon.”
“Ugh, that dick,” she cursed. “But can’t people tell the difference by now?”
“You’d think,” he sighed, knowing that didn’t mean a damn thing if a glamour spell was involved.
“Sounds like he needs to be punched in his pretty nose to make sure it’s more obvious,” she suggested, stepping into Killian’s space and tapping his own nose.
“You think my nose is pretty?” he flirted back.
“All of you is. Way more than him,” she assured him, then dragged him into the restaurant.
He obviously knew he was innocent of the various misdemeanors he’d been accused of, and he was certainly no stranger to being a suspect. But that hurt feeling from earlier crept back up in him as he fielded side-eyed stares from his seat across from an oblivious Emma while they ate.
Hadn’t he earned this town’s trust? Weren’t they well past any questioning of his actions? Yes, his history was rocky—but he’d literally died for the residents of Storybrooke.
And it was no secret he had a doppelgänger running around. So the fact they were so quick to turn on him was far more painful than he’d like to admit.
“Babe? Your glass—are you okay?” Emma’s concerned voice pulled him from his morose thoughts, and he realized a whirlpool was threatening to spin out of his glass of water.
“Sorry,” he answered quickly, and focused on calming the tiny maelstrom. “Just—thinking about everything,” he said, simplifying the truth.
“I know.” She reached over and squeezed his hand. “Good thing you’ve got another magic lesson in the morning, huh?”
He groaned in response; she giggled.
“Come on; let’s get you home. You’ll need your rest,” she said suggestively as she got to her feet, taking him with her, hinting that they would spend time not resting as well.
The lascivious smirk Granny gave him as Emma paid their tab was less out of place than his other interactions today, but was at least positive. So he did still have some friends, it seemed.
And as he and Emma finally collapsed in each other’s arms later, sweaty and sated, as long as she was still on his side, who else did he require?
★・・・・・・★・・・・・・🗡・・・・・・★・・・・・・★
Though Dorian was no stranger to using a glamour spell, and had certainly used far more dramatic disguises in his life, this one was perhaps the most initially uncomfortable—mainly in how little changed.
As it was, he and Killian were nearly mirror images to start with—what with their scars on opposing cheeks and the fact that they parted their hair on different sides. So to see such minor differences in his reflection was a somewhat out-of-body experience—this was close to what people actually saw when they looked at him.
He allowed his minor existential crisis to persist for a minute before finishing the transformation; at least his brother had decent style, if a bit different than his own. (How could he stand these tight jeans?) The false hook over his left hand was awkward, but necessary.
Anyways. It was time to see if he could pull this off; after all, he was far too wise not to do foolish things now and then. He headed down to the diner (after peeking around a corner to make sure neither Killian nor Emma were already there—though the fact that he’d slept in probably prevented that) and slipped onto a stool at the counter.
This time, when Granny greeted him, it was much warmer. “Early lunch?”
“Aye; the usual, my dear,” he tested. “And I just couldn’t wait to see you,” he added with a wink.
Granny blushed and chuckled, then shuffled off to the kitchen. Good; she was receptive to his flirting. If he was bold enough about it, surely that would stir up some ill will towards his brother; just what kind of man brashly flirted with a woman who wasn’t his wife? And there was a reasonable audience, even if mid-morning was somewhat slow.
So hopefully someone noticed when he grabbed the bottle of whiskey sitting behind the counter and snuck it into his lap.
A few minutes later, the older lady was back, sliding over a plate of fish and chips; predictable of his brother. “Fresh caught, extra vinegar on the chips—just how you like it.”
“Oh, you spoil me,” he replied, holding back a gag at the smell of the vinegar. He leaned across the counter, continuing, “If there’s anything I can do to repay you, you know where to find me,” then suggestively licking his lips.
To his shock, she just laughed and patted his cheek. “You know you couldn’t handle me, sweetheart.” And went back to her business.
Hm. Well, that wasn’t quite the response he expected. But he at least passed for Killian; that was a good sign. (Unfortunately, he had to sell it by actually eating this meal; thank the gods for the whiskey to wash it down.)
He headed down to the marina next, finding the easiest boat he could hotwire (which, with his magic, was all of them) and took a bit of a joyride, then poofed ashore when that got boring.
After a trip through the pharmacy, where he got a five-finger discount on some mid-range rum, he relieved himself in the shrubs outside a convent, knocked over the displays outside the florist, pretended to need the services of the carpenter but just dumped wood stain over his wares, and dragged the tip of his hook along some parked cars.
Briefly, he took a smoking break outside the elementary school and let the half-burnt cigarette fall into a bush outside a classroom, setting it alight. He was enjoying watching the slowly growing fire when the room’s window flew open and a petite woman with short, dark hair attacked it with a fire extinguisher. “Don’t you have anything better to do?” she snapped at him.
“No,” he answered succinctly, and transported away, hopefully leaving a scorch mark on the lawn, too.
He’d noticed a friendship between his brother and the librarian—the gorgeous woman who had seemingly questionable taste in men. He’d be shocked if the two of them had kept things purely platonic, despite their respective well-known relationships. And if they hadn’t…well, it was time for him to explore that, even if for his own enjoyment.
The bell on the library rang as he entered. “You here, love?” he called out, suddenly realizing he’d never caught the lass’s name.
“Right where you left me,” she shouted; shit, he forgot his brother worked here. That was a close call. He followed the sound of her voice to the next room, where he found her desperately trying to reach something on the top shelf. “Perfect timing; can you lend me a hand? Pun intended.”
“Ha,” he answered awkwardly, not sure if he should be acting offended or not. “But of course.”
He didn’t hesitate to grab the volumes she asked for, but rather than just hand them over, he took the opportunity to move into her space. “Oh, uh, thanks,” she said, trying to take a step back, but she didn’t get far before bumping into a cart.
“That’s all my assistance is worth? ‘Thanks’?”
“Killian, you know I appreciate you—”
“So let me appreciate you, darling,” he said on a breath, leaning in close. “Don’t tell me you’ve never felt something…more…between us.” Subtly, he raised the blinds in the room so any passers by might see his attempted pursuit of someone who clearly wasn’t his brother’s wife.
She looked up at him, lips parted, and he was aware of her heightened heart rate. She narrowed her gaze briefly. “No, I haven’t—Dorian.”
“Who’s Dorian?” he lied.
Her knee found his crotch swiftly and strongly; she might be short and slight, but she was the perfect height to do optimum damage to his manhood. He stumbled back, dropping the books and holding his groin, groaning, with stars beginning to cloud his vision.
“I can’t believe I almost fell for that,” she yelled. “You really thought I wouldn’t be able to tell?”
“Ah, but you almost did,” he countered, even though his voice was incredibly strained.
He could see her blushing even through his squinted view. “Never,” she insisted, though it sounded like she was trying to convince herself as much as him. “I won’t do that, and I won’t help you.”
He scoffed as his breath started to come back. “What use are you to me? Just a silly librarian; even if you are married to the Dark One.”
She smirked. “I’m used to people underestimating me. I suggest you don’t again. Wouldn’t want anything to happen to that painting of yours, would you?”
“My painting?” He wasn’t surprised she knew of it—this was a library, obviously, if even the book he’d inspired was largely fabrication—but he’d left it behind in another realm, hoping the distance (and that particular realm’s timelessness) would prevent its aging, or at least slow it.
But then—he felt it. A faint heartbeat in his ear, just a millisecond behind his own but the same tempo: the heart of his True Love, continuing to carry a rhythm for him even though it was shattered and locked in canvas. It seemed to be coming from above them; he glanced up, trying to locate it, but didn’t get very far before his gaze was forced away rather painfully.
Belle had slapped him—again, stronger than he expected, but he’d been hit so many times that it hardly stung. “Get the hell out of here, and leave us alone.”
“Alright, alright,” he replied, and immediately poofed away—right into the attic of the library. The drumbeat of the heart was even louder up here, and he was easily able to follow it—while stepping lightly enough to not make a sound—to one end of the cluttered storage room.
And there it was: his iconic portrait. It…wasn’t pretty. Not that it had been when he’d stashed it in the Land of Untold Stories, but it had definitely continued to deteriorate, though thankfully less than it probably should have. There was part of his soul that certainly felt like the withered, grayed, gnarled mess of a man in the image before him, but only a small one.
Actually, it was a good thing the portrait had made its way here; perhaps, when he achieved his plan, he’d also be able to sever his tie to this in favor of the dagger. He’d leave it here for now—but he’d be back for it later.
He had at least one more stop to make. So he transported again to an alley by the sheriff station, knocked over a mailbox, and casually headed inside. While it would be fun to see how far he could take things with Emma, he had no doubt she’d be able to see through this disguise even quicker than the librarian had. But the other deputy, the blond one—he might be slower on the uptake.
“Hey, Hook,” the man said, barely glancing up from the paperwork he was filling out. “Emma’s doing rounds.”
“Aye; I’m aware,” he said, sauntering closer. “I was here to see you, anyway.”
“Yeah?” The man—David, judging by the name plate on the desk—looked up at him. “What’s up?”
Dorian wasted no time in taking a seat right in front of him on the desk, cupping his (rather handsome) face, and quickly finding his lips.
The ensuing chain of reactions was honestly hilarious: the other man stilled at first, then leaned into it, but then seemed to realize who he was kissing and pushed away, jumping to his feet.
“What the hell was that?” he spat, wiping off his mouth on the back of his hand.
Dorian hopped off the desk and moved closer to David. “I was always curious; you mean you weren’t?”
“No!” he shouted. “Not like—just, no!”
“Was I that bad?” Dorian flirted, tilting his head.
“No, you were—not my son-in-law,” David sighed, realizing who he was talking to.
“Ugh, you’re no fun,” Dorian replied. “And you’re only a halfway decent kisser.”
“My wife thinks I’m just fine,” David threw back, somewhat offended. “And if you’re trying to turn people against Killian, you’re gonna have to try harder than that.”
“You almost bought it.”
“Please; Killian only has eyes for Emma. Not that you’d know anything about True Love, I bet.”
Dorian glowered. “You don’t know anything about me, pal. Maybe get off your high horse with your generalizations.”
David stepped closer and put his hands on his hips; Dorian couldn’t help but feel like he was about to get a lecture. “I don’t know everything about you, but I’ve known enough people like you. I actually had a twin, too.”
“Oh? More than one of you? Must have been terribly dull.”
“Actually, you’d probably have gotten along with him famously; he was a selfish cad, too.”
“And where’s this fellow now?”
“Oh, he’s dead,” David went on. “From what I heard, he got a little too cocky, a little sloppy, and it came back to bite him. Or, well, stab him through the chest.”
“Ouch,” Dorian deadpanned. “And your point is?”
“Maybe you should ease up on making enemies. Because you don’t know which one is going to finally take you out.”
“And what—make friends instead?”
David shrugged. “Can’t hurt. Though I also can’t say you have good odds of finding many here, after all the drama you’ve stirred up so far.”
“No thanks.”
“Hey,” David said, softer, and placed a hand on his shoulder. “I know you’ve spent a long time chasing one thing, and it seems like you have nothing else to live for. But I watched your brother change his path; it’s not too late for you.”
Dorian gingerly pushed David’s hand off, like it was something disgusting. “Look, I know you hero types, and I know you mean well and want what’s best for me, or whatever. But I also know this: you have to want to change. Clearly my brother did. Me, though? I find good advice rather annoying. So save your breath.”
“Suit yourself.”
“I will, thanks.” And he transported back to his pilfered room at Granny’s.
His conversation with David was already forgotten; the deputy had probably hoped his words would linger and Dorian would reconsider his entire life. But no—he knew what he wanted.
And now, he just had to wait to see what fallout his (mis)adventures today wrought.
★・・・・・・★・・・・・・🗡・・・・・・★・・・・・・★
Late 1880s
Dorian stepped out of the portal onto a dirty cobblestone alley. Once the gateway closed behind him, he placed his second bean in his inner coat pocket for safekeeping, and sealed it with magic—which thankfully worked; he wasn’t sure what to expect as far as being able to normally access his powers in this so-called Land without Magic, but was glad to see they were so far unhindered.
Of course, the irony of this realm carrying that name was that he had come here seeking magic out. It wasn’t fully devoid, he could tell, but he’d heard that it was far-flung, infrequent, and hidden from the general populace.
Which was probably why it was so dark in this backstreet; what kind of uncivilized society hadn’t figured out proper outdoor lighting yet? He could see some primitive lanterns at the end of the way, on what looked to be a main street, but could smell the fuel in them from here.
As such, he conjured a fireball in his hand to get his bearings. He’d arrived in the corner of an alley that went between and behind buildings—great, grimy brick monstrosities. Some parchment sat atop abandoned crates along one side; he inspected closer, reading The Daily Telegraph across the top of the page, followed by a picture of a man identified as the Prince of Wales, which he had to assume was a meaningful title as no proper name was given.
He further studied the fashion of the man, then glanced down at his own clothes, which were decidedly not of this realm from what he could see. That was easy to fix, though, and with a wave of his hand, he was wearing a garment that closely resembled what he saw in the image: a coat with long-ish tails, slacks, and a waistcoat. He didn’t hate it, but the vest wasn’t quite his style.
Anyways. That settled, he reached into a different pocket (he’d made sure the contents of those stayed the same regardless of what his jacket looked like) and pulled out a slip of paper with a name written on it: Basil Hallward. From what he’d been told, this man could help him find the magic he needed to get him one step closer to the Dark One’s powers.
(That Rumpelstiltskin bastard had placed so many protection spells over the Dark Castle, it was bordering on ridiculous. Didn’t he know it was once Dorian’s home? But no—the demon wouldn’t even grace him with a meeting to grant him access to his old quarters. Granted, he’d have been an idiot to, but one could hope. But perhaps here, in this land that seemed to reject magic, he’d find that which could break through those spells and reclaim his birthright.)
He glanced down both alleys in front of him. The one towards the street was empty—just brick walls and boarded-up windows—but going the other way, he could see a light glimmering outside an inconspicuous door.
And if he wasn’t mistaken, the light in the lantern was not fueled by whatever oil illuminated the streets; no, this one was quite similar to the ball of fire in his hand. The portal had placed him in the right spot.
Before he headed to the door, he placed the slip of paper in his own flare, letting it fall to ashes on the stone pavement. Then he extinguished it with a shake of his hand and headed over.
Upon closer inspection, the lamp was indeed his variety of fire magic, though there seemed to be an object at the center of it that kept it burning. Clever, he thought; it meant less mental effort to keep it lit (not that he had to exert much anymore for such simple spells).
The door itself was painted roughly to match the exterior wall—or it had been, once upon a time, and now was faded and flaking, but he could still make out where “B. Hallward” was written in yellowing letters.
He knocked, firmly and insistently, and then waited. He wasn’t naive enough to think he’d get an immediate answer, or even to think he’d be seen tonight, but there was also no sense waiting.
He listened close to the door for a minute or so, but if there was anything to hear, it was unnoticeable. Then he paced a bit, keenly aware of the sounds of his unfamiliar shoes tapping on the stones.
But after nearly 10 minutes, he had to concede that either Mr. Hallward was out for the evening, or didn’t wish to be disturbed. Well, surely a town of this size had a red-light district; it wouldn’t be the first time he’d spent a night in such an establishment (usually willingly).
He began to walk towards the sounds of society, at the far end of this alley, when he paused; he thought he heard the turn of a deadbolt. He turned back to look at the door; it was still shut, but the color of the flame in the lantern had changed to blue. Curious.
He moved closer to it, and to his surprise, a small window appeared from nowhere. There was no glass inside it, but he could see nothing but blackness behind it. “Yes?” a voice called out from the void.
“Basil Hallward?” he asked.
“Who wants to know?” the voice replied.
“Someone who has traveled a great distance to seek you out.”
The voice cursed, probably realizing he’d revealed his identity without meaning to. “What for?” he finally came back with.
“A bit of magic,” he answered, then called forth his own fire again.
The window disappeared and the door swung open. “Come in,” the other man called out; Dorian didn’t hesitate to oblige.
Whatever he was expecting—this wasn’t it. Despite whatever spell lay on the entryway—and he could feel it as he stepped through—it was actually fairly light inside, with more enchanted lamps around the open space, which revealed the absolute clutter everywhere. And, to the back of the room, what appeared to be a painter’s studio.
“You’re an artist?” he exclaimed, minorly disgusted.
“That I am, sir,” the other man replied, and Dorian finally got a look at him: he seemed young—younger than him, at least—and the narrow mustache above his lip did nothing to make him appear older. He pushed his dark, curly hair out of his equally dark eyes. “What of it?”
“I came here looking for magic,” Dorian spat. “Not to sit for my portrait.”
“A pity; you’d make an excellent subject, with that profile. But I do both, actually.”
“Both?” He raised an eyebrow, skeptic.
“Aye; let me show you.” Basil beckoned Dorian towards his work bench; he hesitantly followed. The man picked up a vial of what Dorian assumed was pigment off the cluttered surface. He uncorked it and held it out. “Do you recognize it?”
Dorian narrowed his gaze and peered inside. It was just a black powder, but he recognized the smell. “Adder’s fork?”
“Good eye,” Basil commended. “And this?” he asked, holding out a small dish with a bluish powder.
“Mermaid scale,” Dorian identified. “I don’t understand.”
“Magic works differently in this realm,” Basil explained. “No one here is born with it inherently, but what makes its way here usually requires a conduit—some physical tether. Me, I learned how to embed it in my paint, using these ingredients.”
“And then what?”
“Whatever you want,” Basil answered. “Within reason, of course.” He showed off a portrait of an expectant mother, explaining that the woman and her husband had been trying to have children for several years when he painted her; “Now, she has three children and another on the way.” Another painting displayed a vagabond sitting on a street curb. “His wife discovered he was cheating on her; now he’s destitute and she kept his wealth.”
“So you grant wishes?”
“In a sense. A fertility spell was embedded in this portrait, a curse of ill-luck in the other.”
Dorian glanced back at the work space and saw a good number of potion books—many of them he knew—across a bookshelf above it. “Ahhh,” he sighed in understanding. “Then you likely don’t have what I’m after.”
“Which is?”
“A way to break into a heavily fortified castle?”
Basil shook his head. “Afraid not. But if you have something of its occupant’s, we could probably find a way to cast them out, or at least make them horridly uncomfortable.”
“If it were that easy, I wouldn’t be here.”
“No, I suppose you wouldn’t. Hope you didn’t come far, then.”
“Only a few realms away.”
Basil whistled low. “Then I at least owe you a drink. What’s your poison?”
“Whiskey?”
He nodded and led him over to a sitting area, where they proceeded to chat over (some damn fine) liquor. Basil was curious about the magical realms—he had some acquaintances who passed through the other worlds who supplied him with his materials, but had never been himself. Dorian wondered how he’d fallen into this line of work, then.
“The man I apprenticed with taught me; passed on all he knew.” Well, that sounded familiar.
As such, they got on famously, to the point that Basil offered Dorian use of a spare bedroom in his home for as long as he was staying in this realm.
What the hell, Dorian thought. The Dark One wasn’t going anywhere—he could enjoy himself for a bit. (It wasn’t like he ever needed an excuse to do so.)
For the next few weeks, Basil showed him about this curious town—London, it was called, and far larger than he realized—and introduced him to many interesting people (and vices; opium was a delight, though he saw enough of the strung-out folks addicted to it to use in moderation).
They went to countless parties, gatherings, concerts, sporting events. At one such dinner, he met a writer named Oscar who seemed to be infatuated with him; he couldn’t say he disliked the attention. The man became a regular fixture in their outings as well (and maybe a few private nights).
Dorian did oblige Basil to pose for a portrait eventually; far be it for him to deny the world his beauty. “And what enchantment will you weave into this one?” he asked, peering over his friend’s shoulder; Basil had finished painting his face and form, but nothing else yet.
“None,” Basil replied simply. “You have enough magic on your own.
(There may also have been a few nights he spent in Basil’s room, as well. He was hardly a choosy lover, so long as someone caught his interest.)
He smirked cockily at the praise and admired his face and form on the canvas. Basil was truly a gifted artist and, in his personal opinion, had perfectly captured Dorian’s handsomeness, strength, and form, down to the color of his eyes.
However, later that night as he readied for bed, he caught a glimpse of something new in his reflection in the looking glass: was that…a wrinkle?
He pulled at the flesh around his eyes, watching as it stretched and returned. Indeed, there was a fine line—a few, even—in that delicate skin.
He was 30 years old; he knew it was inevitable he began to look it (even if he dare say he looked better than most men his age). But it was a sudden, stark reminder: the being he was chasing was immortal; he, however, was not.
(There was probably some sage advice somewhere about avoiding vice to extend his longevity, but…where was the fun in that?)

okay okay so how about “what’s up, kiddo?” or “well, when i was a kid…” OR “pff. what are you, my [dad/mom/parent]?” from the parent and child relationship ask for, predictably, anyone court related (leroy, leona, lampwick, emma if you like)? basically, any thousand problems vers. because I love them very much (:
I have a suspicion that you put some of those suggestions in there knowing FULL WELL what you were doing 😒❤️
Parent/child prompts
"Pff. What are you, my [dad/mom/parent]?”
By the time Leroy's done chewing Happy up for his dumb idea and has climbed back onto the truck, the boy looks ready to fall asleep, his head lolling against the window as if filled with rocks.
On a normal day, Leroy would be more than happy to let Lampwick conk out, because the gods know that kid doesn't get enough sleep, but as this is not a normal day, and rocks would probably make better decisions anyway, he slams the door closed and starts the engine with a little more force than usual, keeping the volume up as he speaks. “Oh, no, kid, you're not escaping this. Look alive or I'm leaving you at the dump site.”
Lampwick whines like a kicked dog, rubbing a hand down his face. “Nobody asked you to come anyway.”
“Doc asked. And it's a good thing he did, ‘cause if he'd let Happy drive after getting you pissing drunk-”
“You're making a big deal out of nothing. I had like- a beer.” The boy wavers, his eyes momentarily unfocusing before he snaps back into the conversation. “Maybe two beers. Or three. But it's whatever. Stop shouting.”
Leroy has to laugh, then, because it would be very fucking funny if he weren't so angry. “Give me a break. You're sixteen. That ain't a call you can make anywhere around here, you little idiot.”
“You do worse all the time, why're you getting on my case now?”
Good question. Why? Why did it set Leroy's blood boiling to find out this stupid redheaded brat was being offered drinks by his brothers - people he trusts not to drive a teenager to alcohol poisoning, at the very least? Why did his stomach sink alongside that, of all things?
He thinks he has some kind of answer, deep down. Unfortunately, right now he'd rather chew on glass than spit it out, so the next best thing is to snap “‘Cause if you don’t have the sense to know what you’re not supposed to be doing, you’ve got no business copying what I do, kid!”
Lampwick has the gall to scoff at that, thick skull that he is. “What are you, my dad? You’ve got no business telling me what I can or can’t do. I was having fun. If you can’t get off my dick about that, maybe I’m better off walking home, you know?”
That stings. Damn him, he probably doesn’t mean even half of it, but it still stings. “Yeah? Maybe I should kick you out, then- you’re stinking up my seat,” Leroy grumbles morosely. “Ungrateful little shit.”
But he doesn’t hit the brakes, and Lampwick doesn’t try climbing out of a moving vehicle despite his clear lack of survival instinct, so they continue on in morose silence for a long while, until the dwarf hears a sudden, suffocated mumble coming from his right. “Shit- Leroy?”
What now? “Yeah?”
“Think ‘m gonna be sick.”
He stops the truck with an abrupt screeching of tires, which is barely enough as is, because he has just about the time to get his foot off the brake before the boy has pushed the door open and is doubling over halfway out, puking most of his ill-timed party onto the side of the road. It’s a good thing it’s night, and not a particularly fair-weathered one at that - Emma likes that young knucklehead, alright, but even she would probably make him clean up the mess he’s just made in a public place if she was alerted, and Leroy too, for the misfortune of being around when it happened.
For his part, Leroy takes the time to curse whatever choice in life that’s made him less grumpy towards this one kid in particular, then climbs out of his seat and makes his way around the truck, waiting for Lampwick to take a breather between retches before he tries speaking again. “No use telling you to quit treating yourself like that, is it?”
The boy inhales slowly and wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, his face so pale that his freckles look like little wounds under the streetlights. “You know that won’t do nothing, old man.”
“I figured as much. Can you at least promise me you’ll call me the next time the room starts spinning- I can’t rely on Doc forever, he barely knows how to use a phone.”
“Why? Don’t you got anything better to do with your life?”
“Yeah, I do.” Leroy rolls his eyes, praying for patience, but still when Lampwick keels over again his hand is there, pushing the kid’s hair out of his sweaty face.
“But so do you. You fix this shit first, and then I’ll stop answering the phone, deal?”

Ooooh I love your edits but would love to see your writing. I would love a comedic fic where Hook shares with Emma his hangover cure after she’s had a little bit too much of his rum to handle a hard day at work (something w random tracking needed like Granny’s items going missing like her cast iron skillet and favorite apron, super important that Emma is on the job since nearly everyone goes to Granny’s and Leroy/Grumpy isn’t happy). As a suggestion, I recommend that the hangover cure definitely include honey or molasses and lemon. However, what you want to pair it with or use to ingest is up to you.
Thank you for your prompt! I tried my best and now we have this! I'm not sure if I've done well with comedy, but I hope it's funny at least)

19 - The Pirates Crocodile pt 2
Part. 20
Princess Red Thief
Tag list - just ask to be added @mystrey101 @melvia-ito @kmc1989 @tallrock35 @onentaien-kwar
Rain began falling down on us from the sky before I could hear cars coming from our side of the red line meaning it had to be Emma with her sheriff's vehicle. Raising my head up I winced, pressing a hand to my side hip and when I drew my hand back my fingers were fresh with my own blood. “Oh that can’t be good - what - why isn’t it working?” I waved my hand over the wound in an attempt to heal myself but nothing happened.
Rumple pushed himself to his feet finally finding his cane on the ground getting his injured leg stable. He offered me a hand helping me to stand seeing blood on my hand. “You’re bleeding, lass.”
“It’s not working. My magic - it isn’t working, Rumple.” I blurted out feeling my chest beginning to tighten meaning it must be a panic attack.
“Did you see his face? His one true love, gone in an instant! Just like Milah, crocodile! When you took her from me…” Hook chuckled covered with scratches across his face when Emma came over when they pulled up beside the crashed car.
“But you took her first.” Rumple lunges, leaving me standing behind him when he goes to attack Hook, digging his cane into his neck.
Emma gasped. “Gold, are you insane?!”
“Yes, I am!” He growled down at Hook.
Charming grabbed his arm trying to pull him off. “You can’t do that!”
“I can if you let me go.”
“You don’t want her to see that.” Emma looking in my direction seeing my muddy clothes and soaked hair with some blood seeping out of my bullet wound.
“I say let him suffer a little bit considering he freaking shot me! - gah!” I grunted, pressing my hand to the wound before I saw my vision beginning to blur in front of me and I collapsed down onto the ground.
The next time I was opening my eyes I heard multiple people talking and sirens going off behind me. “Car versus pedestrian. Chest trauma from the wheel. Pedestrian’s got contusions, broken ribs.”
A nurse shouted running past my hospital bed. “Go to X-ray. Pedestrian first.”
“Hide him. Find a room and hide him.” Emma grabs the nurse standing near my bedside who gave her a weird look when she saw them bringing an injured Hook inside.
Lifting my head up from the pillow I recognized the new voice. “Everly! What’s going on, where is she?”
“Get him out of here!” Charming stepped forward trying to block him from me.
Rumple tried to push him back. “Well, what’s happening? Eve!”
Leroy, who was really Grumpy the dwarf, entered the conversation not sure what had happened. “I’d like to know that myself.”
“Everly! Everly!” I heard Rumple’s voice calling out for me before Charming pushed his hand against his chest with everyone yelling.
“Rumple!” I winced trying to get off the table but a nurse pushed me down before I felt pain shoot to my bullet wound.
Dr. Whale finally joins everyone here in the emergency room entrance. “Everybody, calm down! Mr. Gold. Everything will be fine. She’s in good hands here. I promise.”
“Then I suggest you start doing your job before I turn you into a snail and step on you if anything happens to her!” Rumple threatens him before he shoves himself between the nurse and me, taking my hand in his with fear across his face. “Eve, just tell me if you want me to remove the bullet rather than these idiot doctors.”
“I’ll let them take care of it. Just be in my hospital room when I wake up.” I squeezed his hand being rolled away from him getting me into surgery.
Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I blinked the sleepiness from my line of sight before I lifted my head upward slightly noticing that my beloved husband was asleep in the chair directly pulled up at my bedside. Scooting to the edge of the mattress I shook his shoulder, waking him up by my soft voice. “Rumple. Rumple, wake up. Wake up.”
“Hmm - Eve - Everly. Ohh I was so worried about you all the time you were in surgery. How are you feeling now though?” Rumple’s head shot up and his eyes landed solely on me. He raised a hand up to the side of my face and I leaned my cheek into the palm of his hand.
Placing my hand over the one on the side of my face I intertwined our fingers together without a hint of hesitation. For that very brief moment we weren’t the Red cloak wearing Princess and the Dark One. We were innocently just Everly and Rumple. “I’ll get better. Right now I’m just sore, tired and I want to sleep safely and sound back at home with you and the kids.”
Rumple nodded his head in agreement giving me those puppy dog eyes. “Let’s get you out of here, princess. You’ve been locked up long enough.”
Dr. Whale saw Rumple and I stumbling down the stairs and into the lobby where he rushed over to examine my body for injuries but obviously found none. “You shouldn’t be out of bed. What - you fixed her bruising. Look, listen to me, you fixed me. Now fix him. It will take you seconds and cost you nothing.”
Rumple snapped back at him. “No.”
Dr. Whale questioned him. “No? Just… No?”
“I owe you nothing, Whale. I owe none of you anything. And some of you, owe me. So, yeah, just… No. Oh, and point of interest – the driver? He saw me throwing some magic. So, instead of trying to get him out of here, you better be hoping he dies. Because if he doesn’t, he’s going to be driving tour buses up and down main street. So glad I don’t give a damn.” Rumple removed his hand from mine, waving it in front of his chest. He looped his hand back in my hand and we made our way out of the hospital.
By the time we got back to the house I immediately plopped my body down in the recliner we had by the main window. Sprawling my body out arms and legs out I sighed in relief hating how uncomfortable those hospital beds were. “Have I ever told you how much I have missed this house after what happened last night.”
“I’m glad I can make this place comfortable for you. It’s nothing compared to my castle back in our land but-“
I reassured the dark one knowing he felt somewhat insecure about having a family with a former princess. “We could be here or in a castle or a small cabin in the woods and I’d still be happy with you. Wherever we end up I will always be happy with you. Because I love you.”
“I love you, Eve.” Rumple came over to me while I was laying in the chair planting a kiss on my forehead gently. “The others in this town know we have a long history. So they’ll know this to be true. If any harm comes to you and our children while I’m gone, I’m killing all of them.”
He drew back slightly once I had looped my hand in his free one. “Rumple, stop worrying. Actually let me go with you. We already saw I can leave town like you can.”
“I wish you could come with me but you can’t. This is my path that I have to go through alone.” Rumple squeezed my hand in his hand before he grabbed his car keys and I watched him leave through the front door sending me a smile before he shut the door. Closing my eyes I finally allowed myself to get some sleep.

INTRODUCING: FRANKIE BLANCHARD
Full Name: Francesca Joan Blanchard (born Lindone)/Winona Blanchard (Cursed Persona)
Birthdate: November 30th (1966 in her cursed persona)
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Species: Human
Family: Beatrice Lindone (Mother, estranged), Thomas Lindone (Father, deceased), Colette Lindone (Older Sister, estranged), Sabina Lindone (Younger Sister), Mary-Margaret Blanchard/Snow White (Adoptive Mother), David Nolan (Adoptive Father), Emma Swan (Adoptive Older Sister), Henry Mills (Adoptive Nephew)
Love Interest: Roslyn Maire
Friends: Henry Mills, Emma Swan, Killian Jones (kinda, on and off), Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket, Granny Lucas, Ruby Lucas/Red Riding Hood, Leroy/Grumpy, Belle French, Marco/Geppetto, Anna of Arendelle
Likes: Reading, horses, pancakes, dramatic movies, mysteries, sunrises, throwing knives, apples, fireworks, jewelry, music
Dislikes: Rumplestiltskin, Regina Mills (again, on and off and it changes over time), her mother, loneliness, cold weather
Phobias: Blood, darkness
Style: In the Enchanted Forrest, she is usually seen in elegant dresses and draped in a cloak, her hair was usually done in elaborate styles, and in Storybrooke, she is dressed more in "edgier" styles such as lots of fishnets, boots, jean shorts, see-through shirts with bralettes, etc.
Speech: American accent, a softer voice in the Enchanted Forest, doesn't talk a lot, much cussing as Winona/post-curse Frankie, and her voice is slightly raspier from her smoking attempts
Physical Quirks/Scars: Scar on her forehead by her hairline, walks with a slight limp on the left side
Personality: Enchanted Forest Frankie is sweet, somewhat demure, a lover of nature and animals, very brave and always lending a helping hand whereas Winona is rougher, a lot more feisty and moody, though she has a soft spot for the ones she loves and finds "not annoying" and finally, post-curse Frankie is a more badass version of her younger Enchanted Forest self - she knows how to defend herself and has combined the best qualities of her former self and Winona
Background: Francesca grew up as a Princess in the Enchanted Forrest. She had always known that there was trouble brewing in her family's Kingdom - she just didn't know what it was exactly. One night, her older sister disappeared and was never seen again by anyone. Years later, Frankie's mother tells the 14-year-old that she is to marry a Prince from a neighboring Kingdom to save theirs from money trouble. Frankie, deeply in love with a Princess from another Kingdom, refuses to do so, leading her mother to put the burden on her younger sister. The next night Beatrice stops her in the hallway, and the mother and daughter duo get into a heated argument, resulting in Beatrice grabbing a candlestick and hitting her daughter over the head with it, claiming to the King and Prince that she had tragically fallen down the stairs. Frankie's father Thomas, heartbroken over his daughter's alleged accidental death, finds her clinging to life in the abandoned tower. He brings her to Rumplestiltskin, begging for him to save her. He demands Thomas' soul in turn - and he agrees. When Frankie comes to, her clothes drenched in blood and a small scar adorning her forehead, she is all alone on a dark and muddy road. A horse carriage happens to pass by, with none other than Snow White and Prince David inside it. The two take her in, and she lives in the castle as Snow White's "cousin", never seeing her family again. Three years later, the curse hits, and twenty-eight years later, Frankie is still seventeen and living in Storybrooke as Winona Blanchard. Winnie loves to go to the stables in her free time and babysits Henry Mills every Tuesday and Friday. When Henry's birth mother, Emma Swan, comes into town, she brings lots of change with her, causing Winnie's worldview to unravel as Frankie fights her way back into her mind.
Faceclaim: Diana Silvers

one of scott's therapy sessions, which is during his thirties after his dad dies. (ocposting again)
tw: suicide, homophobia, attempted murder(kind of), fighting, mention of being in the hospital(but he doesnt talk about it past saying it), therapy(?), his therapist is nosy and kind of annoying
"Hello, Scott. How are you feeling today?"
"Pretty damn awful. The pinto broke down yesterday, poor thing. First time in all these years, though. Can't complain too much."
"Mm. So Rachael's picking you up today?"
"Yup. Speakin' of which. I got some news."
"Yes?"
"Rachael is, uh... She's not a woman. She's my, well, she's not even really my husband. Can't get married and whatever. His name is Rodney. We got illegally married in the woods at twenty-six. Love of my life since I was seventeen."
"That makes a lot of sense, Scott."
"So, ya just don't care?"
"There was a small part of me that wondered. There aren't many women working in lumber yards. Or carrying their husbands to bed. Or a lot of things."
"Well... who knows? Rachael coulda been some body builder lady."
"That wouldn't've helped your case either."
"You psychologists ain't supposed to be judgin' books."
"Well, I didn't act like I had any impressions now, did I?"
"You rotten lady."
"Hahaha. Can I meet him?"
"Well, yeah. He's pickin' me up in his little truck."
"I'd be glad. Now, do we want to pick up on what we discussed last time?"
"Alright."
"You started talking about a... Leroy Coffman?"
"Yep. We were just the best of friends in grade school. I was a good little catholic boy who said his prayers every night and all that. Then I got with my first girlfriend, who I told you about. That all changed and whatever. We'd poke each other with knives and laugh about it and shit."
"He told me one day that he loved me. He said he hoped I didn't mind. That he thought I was beautiful and all that... I told everybody. Anyone I came across. Meanest, nastiest thing I've ever done. Ruined everything for him. They called him names and all that jazz."
"Still remember our first real fight. He pushed me into the dirt and told me he hated me and hated that he ever loved me. I still feel awful about all that."
"When I was twenty-six -yes, the same year I got- well, didn't get married- he got out of jail. He came to the gas station I worked at and told me the date, time, and place he planned to beat the shit out of me. He was gonna kill me. I know he was. But I also knew that he knew how, precisely, to do it, and he didn't. He let me live."
"The last thing he told me was that he had loved me all this time and still didn't know why. And he hoped I'd remember him. And right before I blacked out from getting smacked with my own bat again, he blew his own brains out."
"And then later after the hospital and everything, I found a note he had left taped to my bat. And it said that he left me alive because he wanted me and Rodney to be happy."
"And I don't know how I feel about that. I never had feelings for him. I ruined his life. I wish things could've been different."
"I would feel the same way. None of that could have been easy."
"Yep... I dunno. Rodney should be here any minute."
"Mhm, well, when do you want to see me next?"
"Well, never again, but Thursday works."
"You don't like me very much do you?"
"I'll be honest, I don't. You're young and ya know more than me."
"At least you're honest, Scott."
"Actually, we've both been pretty good liars so far, Danielle."
"Haha."
(knock! knock! knock!)
"Come on in. Oh! You must be Mr. 'Rachael'."
"Heh... I guess he told ya, then?"
"I sure did, Dandelion."
"I wanted to talk to you, er-"
"-Rodney."
"If Scott wouldn't mind stepping out?"
"Alright."
(creeeeak... creeeaaakk... click.)
(pause)
"So, I wanted an inside look at him. How does he act at home?"
"Well, he’s still grumpy. You kinda make him sound like some troubled kid at school, haha."
"Haha, yeah. I didn't mean it like that. It's just that he's very straightforward. It's almost more concerning than what he actually says. Even after a few years."
"Oh, he's been like that. His dad's the same way. You must be used to the city folk. Out in Nebula, that's all you get."
"Hm."
"He’s all he is. He's rarely any more than that. Sometimes he cries, sometimes he should cry. I used to think he was somethin' bigger than himself. Sadder than he seemed. Which was true. But everyone is."
"Huh."
"But he's pretty honest these days about who he is. He doesn't try to show off anymore. We're both gettin' old."
"Well, that's... unexpected."
"You're unexpected too. Real nosy. I see why Scott doesn't like ya too well."
"Well, that's my job, practically."
"Yeah, yeah. Well. That's just about it. He's as lovey-dovey as ever. Doesn't bother to hide it, either."
"Alright, well, I'll see him again on Thursday."
"Okay, bye now."
"Bye..."

Black Friday—Chapter 2
“Um excuse me,” Emma said with a frown, “this book is mine.”
The person standing before her didn’t relinquish the book in question, and Emma glanced up at him…and then promptly wished she hadn’t. This guy was hot. Like middle-of-summer in Phoenix hot. Like compared-to-him-the-sun-was-kind-of-warm hot. No one had a right to look that damn good this early in the morning. She should just arrest him and haul him off to jail for that alone.
Very much against her will, her heart swooped and her breath caught at his very proximity. She saw the exact moment he noticed her reaction. A sly, maddening, delighted (sexy) grin came over his face. Emma frowned thunderously up at him, as angry with herself at her reaction as she was at him for his…well, his very existence.
“Much as I hate to contradict a lady,” he drawled (Oh gods, even his voice and accent were hot. She was in serious, serious trouble), “I believe this book, in fact belongs to me. I was here first.”
Her frown deepened. “I don’t think so. Give me my item before I punch you in the face.”
He chuckled, leaning forward and crowding her space. (Her stupid, traiterous heart picked up yet again.) “Oh Darling, I can think of some far, far more pleasant ways we can spar than a bout of fisticuffs.”
Was it suddenly hot in here?
“Look, I don’t have time for this,” she said with a sigh, her voice beginning to raise. “Just stop being a jackass and give me the book.”
Suddenly a small man with a brown beard, a grumpy look on his face, and a hat that read “security” stepped forward. “There a problem here folks?”
“None I can’t handle,” Emma gritted out. “Soon as this guy admits I got here first and gives me my merchandise I’ll get out of your hair.”
“On the contrary,” the man said. “I was the first one to claim this particular prize.”
The security guard, who wore the name tag “Leroy”, glanced back and forth between the two of them for a moment, and then shrugged. “Look, I won’t have any fighting in this store. Work it out among yourselves, or I’m kicking you both out. Then neither one of you gets the stupid book.”
For a moment Emma merely glared at the man, and he looked back at her, a look of steely determination on his face. Finally he sighed.
“Look, love, the security guard’s right,” he said. “While quite enjoyable, our standoff will get us nowhere.”
Was the (hot as hell) guy going to actually be reasonable and give in?
“So here’s what I propose,” he said. “We purchase the book and then adjourn elsewhere to discuss the particulars of whose prize it will be. Perhaps you’ll allow me to buy you a cup of coffee at Granny’s?”
She crossed her arms across her chest. “Are you seriously asking me out right now?”
He chuckled, and the sound did things to her, things that brought the color to her cheeks and stole her breath clean from her lungs. He leaned even closer, so close she could feel his minty-fresh breath against her cheek. “Sadly no. I was merely proposing a parlay of sorts, a chance for us to settle our differences like adults. However, if you’re hoping for a romantic evening out on another occasion, I could certainly accommodate you.”
“In your dreams!”
He wiggled his eyebrows. Actually wiggled them! “Perhaps.”
Emma growled. “Are you kidding me right now? It’s too early for this!”
He seemed to sense he’d pushed her as far as was prudent, and he sighed. “I vow to be the perfect gentleman. IIf we at least secure the item, we can then decide later who is the victor.”
She gave him a quick look and could see the sincerity in his eyes. She was good at spotting when someone was lying, after all. Finally she sighed. “Fine. But we both buy it–split the cost fifty-fifty. That way neither one of us can claim ownership of the book before we get everything ironed out.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Here you are folks,” the perky brunette waitress said half an hour later. “One black coffee and one hot cocoa with cinnamon.
Killian heard the waitress lean whisper “Emma, he’s hot” to the woman on the other side of the booth.
She growled and whispered “Ruby, shut it!” back.
He chuckled. This was turning into one of the most delightful mornings he’d had in ages. When the waitress had flitted over to another set of customers, Killian leaned back and grinned at his companion. “She’s right, you know,” he said. ‘I have been called devilishly handsome.”
“I’ll give you the devilish part,” she said with a wry quirk of her brow. “Look…what did you say your name was?”
“Did I fail to introduce myself? How very rude of me. Killian Jones, at your service,” he said with a bow. Her cheeks colored alluringly at his formality, and Killian was delighted at her reaction to him.
She was utterly captivating, and the truth was, he hadn’t been so quickly, completely and charmingly smitten with anyone since Milah. Though he very much wanted to attain the fairy tale book for his Alice, he couldn’t say he regretted the complications this morning had brought.
He didn’t know what possessed him to ask this woman to coffee. All he knew as they stood facing off in the bookstore was that he did not want their time together to be at an end anytime soon.
“Emma Swan,” she muttered.
A fit of pure devilishness came over him, and he reached over, took her hand and brought it to her lips. “Enchanted.” he whispered.
Her quick, indrawn breath made his grin widen, and she quickly pulled her hand back and busied herself with taking a sip of her beverage.
“So, Killian Jones,” she said, her voice not quite steady, “what are we going to do about this book? I don’t mean to be a jerk about it, but I really need this book. My son…well, this is the only thing he’s asked for, and it’s been a rough year for him. I just…I just want to be able to give him this one thing so maybe I don’t feel like such a failure as a parent.”
His heart turned over. He could tell she’d said more than she’d intended. Emma Swan didn’t strike him as someone who let her walls down quickly or shared her feelings of inadequacy with strangers.
“As a single parent myself, I can relate to the feelings, love,” he said, “but I’ve no doubt book or no book, you’re hardly a failure as a parent.”
“Yeah, well,” she said, glancing uncomfortably aside. “I feel like it.”
Killian was silent for a long moment, taking a sip of his coffee. If it weren’t for Alice, he’d give up his claim on the book in a moment, but it was for Alice. Was there any way they could both get what they wanted?
“I don’t wish to be intransigent either,” he said finally, “and my behavior today is not a matter of mere stubbornness. My daughter also has her heart set on this particular book.”
Her eyes softened at his statement, acknowledging their dueling claims as parents wanting the best for their respective children. “Yeah, I get it, so that brings me back to my original question. How do we decide who gets the book?”
Suddenly an idea struck him. It was unorthodox to say the least, unorthodox to the point of being downright bizarre, but it did have it’s merits–namely the fact that, should she agree to it, they’d be forced to see each other again on a fairly regular basis.
“I do have an idea,” he said slowly, “but it may sound positively daft.”
She gave him an assessing look, taking another dainty sip of her cocoa. “Okay, I’m listening.”
“What if we share the book?” he blurted out.
“Share it? What do you mean?”
“I mean,” he said, “what if we trade off? Your lad gets the book one week, and then my Alice gets it the next, and so on.”
Her brow furrowed. “You mean like…joint custody…of a book.”
He shrugged with a grin. “I told you it would sound daft.”
Killian was encouraged by the fact that Emma didn’t outright shoot down his (odd) idea. She seemed to consider it, staring into space for several moments, before briefly nodding. “It is a weird solution, but I think it might be the best way we can both get what we want. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but you have a deal.”
~*~*~*~*~*~
"It worked!" Henry said excitedly he following Monday morning as he got off the school bus and sprinted over to Alice. "My mom told me all about it. Your dad and my mom decided to share the storybook!"
"I know!" Alice said, smile wide and delighted. "My papa explained the situation to me. I could tell he felt bad that he didn't get the book, and I wanted to make him feel better, but then I thought maybe it would be better to act kinda disappointed."
"Good thinking," Henry said with a nod as they reached their classroom and headed for their desks. "If they feel guilty, then they'll make sure to always make the drop off, and then they'll have to meet every week. We'll be brother and sister by Easter!"
"I hope you're right," Alice said with a sigh. "I know my papa gets lonely sometimes, and it would be nice if he had someone besides me in his life."
"Exactly," Henry agreed. "And my mom needs to know that not every guy's like my dad. Not every guy's gonna leave her.
Henry busied himself setting his backpack on the floor and getting out his books and then he looked back at Alice with a troubled look. "You don't think they'll be mad at us, do you? You know, for being sneaky and everything."
Alice shook her head vehemently. "They'll be too happy together for that. Sometimes adults are just too busy to see what's right in front of them. That's when their kids have to step in and parent trap them."

ouattober2023 Day 3: Fav Story Arc
I have enjoyed this show for the most part, even including S7. I think the switch to half-season arcs was good to keep it all fresh and not drag out things for too long. S4 being split into Frozen and Heroes & Villains was fun. But there just is no question. The arc I care about most, that I go back to rewatching for funsies, that I have the most (positive) feelings about (and some concerns/criticism) - Season 1: The Original Curse. The intertwined storytelling of everything that led to Storybrooke springing into existence and how Emma gets to know the town, breaking the curse as she was meant to do.
Unlike other arcs this is far broader, I have to acknowledge that. The 22 episodes of S1 allow for far more sidetracking. And later some details get revealed to prop it up (for this I'm thinking about stuff like Welcome to Storybrooke, a long overdue look at what it was like for Regina before).
Personally I still go so far to say, that the first season of Once Upon a Time is simply A+ tv. I absolutely recommend this to anybody who wants to have some fantasy-romance-family-fun. Well, okay, so S1 has some very, very dark moments (Graham's death for example).
They won me over with a thing I didn't expect - the Snowing romance. I'm sorry, but a lot of tv is as sophisticated as the Avril Lavigne song goes "he was a boy, she was a girl". Bang, there, that's it, that's the couple. (And I do believe even this show got super lazy with this.) But here we have Snow White and Prince Charming. Yes, of course they are a couple. They need to be. We all know that. True Love! True Love's Kiss! This is the kind of given couple I do not expect to be shown any type of friendship formed. Or an explanation why they think of the other. It just is. But they give us episode 3 Snow Falls and I am so in. Because yes, okay Snow being a bandit and a badass with a bow, totally capable of fighting and taking no nonsense - definitely checks some boxes for me. But Charming is also fun and smitten with her and I can see why they care. She uses the powder to save him. And they both have other things in their life, they can't spend time with this random person - and then they live rent free in each other's head. I believe in the stupid "I will always find you" concept. It is used again and again and still it's always sweet, throughout the show.
If you watch only the Storybrooke parts it seems so old and tired how the nice mousy lady fell in love with a coma patient, making things up about him in her head probably. And then he's married, she gets called a tramp and omg this cheating storyline. But with the fairytale underneath? Knowing they are in fact very actually cursed? This is their punishment and it is supposed to be terrible and hurt? WONDERFUL! David can't just leave Katherine, the curse won't allow for that. There is no easy solution, this has to be painful. We get something like 7:15am and at the end of the episode Mary Margaret and David try so desperately not to see each other, they are both in the diner at 7:45am. ROMANCE!! I am just rarely sold so solid on the main couple, okay? So this was special to me and I indeed looked forward to the episodes to see how their (EF) romance played out. And omg Heart of Darkness is such a banger of an episode. Evil!Snow is the scariest person on this show. He didn'f take an arrow for her, he took an arrow from her.
Exploring Storybrooke is also fun for the viewer. Henry believes things are weird, Emma has rational explanations, we know the truth. It's a wonderful and quirky set-up. Small town filled with weirdness. With so many episodes there was time to put in Hänsel & Gretel for the non-Disney fairytale feel. Great. We had time to get to know Leroy aka Grumpy aka Dreamy (I always laugh when he and Mary Margaret go door to door with the candles) with his own ep (still think as a whole the seven dwarves didn't get enough recognition). You can look left and right and wonder what's everybody's deal is. The town feeling is so important. People with jobs doing stuff. It's something that is a bit lost in later seasons with the focus on the core group, who are all related to each other. I'm sure Archie was a very busy man in the background dealing with everybody else...
It's also amazing to rewatch those first episodes and be reminded that it takes a long, long while until the Evil Queen's motivation is explained. Daniel who? To see Snow as a girl blabber out Regina's secret to Cora - SHOCKING! To understand that these two could have been friends, ohohohoho. It's clear that Rumple plays a huge part in the whole Dark Curse thing, but I think S2 gets more meaty with him. Yet his presence alone and all the deals he keeps making add a lot of flavor.
The worldbuilding is slow, but in this the out-of-order presentation does work, because S1 is actually well planned. (Yes, OUaT is a show that suffers a bit from later additions and expanding lore, but the original promise doesn't collapse under the weight.) The nice parallel structure makes the episodes interesting and moves everything forward at a comfortable pace. They also know how to throw a curveball. Oh, this town is hidden and no stranger ever walks up? Well, yes, hallo here is this guy on a motorcycle nobody has ever met before and he knows things. And for quite a few episodes August is just there, a well planted mystery box.
In the midst of everything magical suddenly we have the episodes Red-Handed, Heart of Darkness and Hat Trick following each other. A werewolf tearing bodies into pieces (yes, thanks, spilled blood looks best on fresh white snow), a whole murder investigation and aforementioned gonna-kill-Regina-now-Snow, and oh yeah that moment where you start wondering if Emma and Mary Margaret will be killed by a psycho axe murderer and the Mad Hatter might be a slasher now... yep. this show can be a bit dark and S1 knew how to walk that line.
And one last round of applause for the fact that the Storybrooke side of the story works with almost no magic at all. Yes, Regina has a bit in her backpocket, but she's scary enough without it. Her scenes with Gold are so worth a watch. He still knows how to scheme.
Oh, and let me mention something I appreciate a lot. The show starts with Prince Charming waking up Snow White with a kiss. Fairytale! We see the happy ending first. Thrown right into it (without knowing the whole ordeal they went through to get to this point). And then we near the end of the season, ep 21 An Apple Red as Blood. Which is a great episode to me, because I love seeing Snow and her band of misfits storming the castle (group effort, we deserved more of that). This is where we finally see Snow biting that apple, fateful. Hey, it's a Sleeping Curse, cool. She did so willingly though. It was her sacrifice for the promise Charming would be save. Not even trickery (okay, maybe we need to talk about this thing with "it need to be taken willingly to work"). This is such a great bowtie to the whole thing.
This here is what it is all about:

Pairing : Leroy Jethro Gibbs x Reader Wife
Jethro’s POV:
“ Hello Y/N ahh Mrs Gibbs , Mrs Boss” Tony rambled as Y/N entered the bull pen.
“ Good Morning to you Tony, Y/N is fine you know” she chuckled.
“ So how was the honeymoon. Boss didn’t give a single detail. “Tony rambled.
“ A lady never kiss and tell “ Y/N chuckled. “ Jethro did you prepare the report state asked for from NCIS”
“ Here darling. Coordinated with the marines, navy and NCIS agents deployed on ground , to do the threat assessment. It’s a go ahead from NCIS , the Director signed on it “ I said.
“ Y/N up for the writer’s convention this week. “ McGee asked.
“ Yepp , very excited. Specially the 1920s Gatsby theme. Gonna love that. Already got a flapper costume. “ she said excitedly.
“ Ouch” , McGee a said as I gave him a head slap.
“ Work McGee”.
“ Boss I am trying , but the codes are too tough” McGee said.
“ Hey McGee I am hearing Next Year’s theme would be Regency England, gonna love that too” Y/N continued
“ They have the best themes” McGee continued.
“ Ouch not fair Gibbs” Y/N protested as I gave her a heads lap.
“ Well you will get another one if you distract my team wifey” I said with humour
“ Ahh tempted” she rolled her eyes.” Well gotta go then. Too bad I can solve the codes on McGee’s big screen, but gotta let him work” she said with a poker face trying to walk away.
“ Y/N, the code”
“ Sorry love, don’t want to distract your team or you” she said with a straight face. “ Bye”.
Reader’s POV:
“ No sweetie, you aren’t going anywhere before cracking that” he said holding me by my waist.
I looked him with a bratty look. He stared at me with a smirk and nodded , baiting me to bring forward my bratty side.
“ Not my Job Jethro. Besides what would the state department think knowing that your agent here is trying to hack the network of a foreign embassy.”
“ So the state department never hacked anything? Wonder how you recognise the code then my love. I mean I don’t know much about codes and algorithms but even someone like you couldn’t recognise it with a glance, especially when McGee is sweating his ass of on it from the morning. So Y/N ,did you ever Crack this before? “ he smirked.
“ Fine Gibbs. I will Crack it. But I won’t do it pro Bono. I would want something in return.”
“ So what it’s gonna cost me ?” He said clearly loving our game.
“ I don’t know Gibbs , think of something”.
“ What if I ask you nicely ? Please? “ he said with puppy dog eyes and a boyish grin.
“ hhmmm better ,but not enough” I chuckled.
He made his way towards the corner, away from his team’s earshot , calling me with a come hither motion.
“ The rest of you atleast pretend to work?” he said nodding his head.
“ So what secret deal are you offering me Special Agent Gibbs” I said rolling my eyes.
He held my chin , making me look at him.
“Why why aren’t you a brat. You need discipline. So here’s my offer darling. You will Crack the code in return of the discipline you need. Then I can make sure , you get the punishment you deserve tonight in bed.”he said with lust.
“ And If I don’t agree love?”
“ You will, cause that’s what you want right.” He smirked trailing his thumb across my bottom lip. “ That and if you don’t, I will not let you cum tonight “
“ Ahh you wont”
“ But I would. You see darling , I love to get you all worked up, hearing your pretty little voice , as you beg me to let you cum.” He laughed.
….
“ All done McGee. You got your data. You knew who your petty officer aka double agent’s foreign handler. “ Thanks Y/N.
“ So Y/N what’s your secret.?” Tony asked.
“ What secret?” I asked.
“ You bring another side of Gibbs” ,McGee said.” He is great to work with. But I never realised he can be so fun.”
“ Well ever since you met him , he is so not grumpy. You light up his world you know.”
“ and he rocks mine” I winked making them laugh.
“ Ahh Y/N you don’t want to mess with Boss ‘s coffee.” Tony said as I picked up Gibbs’s mug from his desk as McGee nodded agreeing with Tony.
I saw Gibbs walking down the squadroom. “ Babe , can you bring me fave chocolate doughnut today” I pouted.
“ Ahh let me think about it” he chuckled.
“ Ahh come on Jethro , I did solve your case” I said with my puppy dog eyes.
“ I will love” he laughed.
“ What’s this?” he said picking up the froth and whipped cream from my hot chocolate cup.
“ It’s milk foam dear” I said Licking his fingers. “ Ohh this is just a preview of what’s gonna happen tonight.” I whispered out of everyone’s earshot.
“ Don’t waste it, and that’s mine hot chocolate not yours.” I continued loudly.
“ Where is my coffee?” Jethro asked.
“ Here I said” inhaling it.
“ Baby you are not supposed to have coffee remember, and sit down babe. Don’t tire yourself out. Don’t forget to jeep yourself hydeated” He reminded.
“ Oh come on Jethro, I can’t wear my favourite stilettos anymore. Can’t even have my cappuccino. Smelling the caffeine is the only thing that helps with the nausea. I am not having it, just smelling it. Better watch out , I will be a bitch with terrible mood swings if you don’t allow to inhale the caffeine scent.
“ I like it when you are my bitch” he whispered smirking, making me blush.
“ Well gotta go love” I said.
“ Come let me walk you to the car.”
20 bucks that things are gonna get heated up in the elevator “ Tony said which made him get a headslap from Gibbs.
We walked into the elevator. As the door closed , he switched on the emergency stop sign and kissed me with passion. I returned it with the same intensity, both fighting for control and domination. He pushed me against the wall shoving his hand below my skirt. He pushed two fingers inside my panties, feeling the moisture there. “ Good Girl, already wet for me” he smirked. He quickly undid his pants as his hard cock sprang out from his boxers. He lined it with my entrance , running it up and down my slit for a few times teasing me before plunging into me. He pulled me closer thrusting deep while I arched my hips towards him.
“ Jethro…. Oh ohh I whispered. I am close . Can I?”
“ Yes baby. Cum for me darling , cum on my cock.” He said.
As I reached my peak , I felt weak at the knees ,as waves and waves of pleasure hit me. “
Gibbs held me tight against him , still thrusting as he hit my g spot, kissing me and claiming my moans. He picked me up while I wrapped my legs around him , helping me recover from the pleasure. Slowly he build his pace again. “ I am close” he said. “Together “ he said as I clenched his cock knowing I am right at the edge . With one final thrust , I reached my climax, finding my release. Milking his cock , I heard him calling out my name as he shot his load deep into me.
Gently kissing my lips he put me down, but still holding me steady He put his forehead against mine as we both panted.
He put his fingers inside my pussy scooping some of cum and Licking his fingers clean.
“ A little preview for tonight” he smirked, gently petting my ass.
He zipped up his pants and smoothed out my skirt. Then he rubbed my still flat belly whispering “ love you and your mummy”. Then he kissed me on the forehead, before helping me with my shoes.
Jethro’s POV:
As I made my way to the bullpen after seeing Y/N off and making sure her seatbelt is properly fastened, I made my way to the bullpen.
“ What took you so long boss? McGee asked. “ The elevator is giving trouble for a few days.” You didn’t get stuck did you Boss” Tony asked doubtfully.
“ I think you stopped for another cup of coffee maybe “ he continued.
“ Do you see a cup of coffee in my hand Dinozzo? Infact did you hear the elevator bell go off?” I asked, while taking out a 20 dollar bill and handing it to Tony.
“ Ohh thanks boss but why?” Ohh Ewww” Tony said amused as realisation dawned on him.
“ Boss” Mcgee said “ Why is Y/N not allowed to have coffee any more?”
“ You know for two seasoned investigators you too are pretty slow” I chuckled as new realisation dawned on them.
“ Boss”
“ Yep we are pregnant “ I grinned proudly making them jump up with joy and excitement as they embraced me in a group hug.

OUAT Rewatch: Season 6
Overall thoughts: This season finally feels like a return to the style and tone of the first two seasons, with the present-day action taking place in Storybrooke, and multiple storylines with multiple antagonists playing out. Those are the seasons I like best!
Episode 6x01 “The Savior”
~ The teaser sets up the conflict for the whole season: can a Savior get a happy ending?
~ “There’s nothing more dangerous than an untold story, and the people who don’t want them told.” What a great line!
~ Where did all of Zelena’s baby supplies come from? Did Robin Hood own any?
~ Regina and Zelena are so endearingly awkward interacting as new housemates!
~ The camera freezes on a cross-shaped headstone when Regina says “Heroism comes first”! Was that an intentional symbol?
~ “When it comes to fixing our biggest problems, there are no shortcuts.”
~ When characters visit the asylum/prison part of the hospital, it usually feels like an homage to One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Emma’s visit to Hyde is the first time it feels like an homage to Silence of the Lambs!
~ Rumple/Gold has already faced the challenge of making Belle fall in love with him again, back in Season 2 when she lost her memory. Having him do so again in the dream world feels unnecessary.
~ The Oracle basically quotes Yoda from The Empire Strikes Back! I’m surprised Emma doesn’t call this out.
~ It’s amazing to see Regina acknowledge that she was a horrible stepmother to Snow, and for Snow to realize that Regina was the one who made her learn about hope!
~ Regina’s monologue and the montage at the end are soooo lovely! I much prefer her new attitude, that one’s life is made up of many stories, over her Season 4 obsession with an Author controlling her life.
~ When Belle passes by the pawnshop, the camera looks out over a candelabra like Lumiere!
Episode 6x02 “A Bitter Draught”
~ The Count of Monte Cristo seems like the kind of story that should be in a Hook-focused episode, since it deals so much with revenge and piracy.
~ I love Hook and Belle’s scene, his apology for trying to kill her in the past, and his acknowledgement that he still has work to do in the area of forgiving himself. That baggage did not go away when he decided to return from the Underworld. And Hook’s music motif sounds so sad and pensive during that scene!
~ Regina swordfighting … is not something I ever expected to see, but okay, cool.
~ Why the heck does Rumplestiltskin suddenly act like he wants Regina? They might be past the teacher-student phase of their relationship, but it’s still incredibly uncomfortable!
Episode 6x03 “The Other Shoe”
~ Looks like Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter is now in Storybrooke! I guess it would make sense for her to have sought refuge in the Land of Untold Stories.
~ Emma watching Hook interact with Alexandra is soooo sweet!
~ I like that this episode revisits the backstory of a character who had a one-off episode so early in the show.
~ It seems strange for Ella to say “There’s no such thing as magic.” Did she not live in the Enchanted Forest, or at least a neighboring kingdom?
~ Dopey getting his master’s degree! And Grumpy/Leroy’s attitude toward Emma!
~ It might have been better setup to show Ashley’s reaction to seeing Lorinda’s name on the list of newcomers.
~ Mary Margaret was already shown returning to her teaching job in the middle of Season 4, presumably after she took some maternity leave. Her time away in Camelot and the Underworld only amounted to a couple months, at most. Why is her return to teaching such a big deal now?
~ Hook and Henry practicing swordfighting is great, and shows that Hook has now joined Henry’s father and maternal grandfather in the role of mentoring him!
~ They brought back Gus/Billy! It’s nice to see Ella having a friend with her in her home and at the ball.
~ I like that they show how Ella and Snow met! That helps explain how they recognize each other at Ella and Thomas’ engagement/wedding ball.
~ It almost seems odd that OUAT hasn’t depicted the Cinderella ball before, earlier in its run.
~ Cutting from the glass slipper to the glass chess set—both possessions/gifts of Rumplestiltskin—is great!
~ David’s desperation seems a bit out of nowhere after he appeared so optimistic in his scene with Mary Margaret.
~ Hook really let Belle settle in and put her own mark on her cabin, which was previously his own!
~ Looks like Snow was as responsible for Ella’s happy ending as Emma was for Ashley’s!
~ Dr. Jekyll meeting Dr. Frankenstein is hilarious! As is the fact that Snow thinks getting them to teach is “part of getting this town back to normal”!
~ Snow and David’s final scene is so sweet, and their conversation about Neal is full of truth! Childrearing may not be “epic,” but it really is the most important work.
~ They really contrived a way to get Robert Carlyle to read poetry in his full Scottish accent!
~ How can the Evil Queen simply free Hyde? Did Regina not take any precautions against this after finding out she had visited him?
~ I like the theme of this episode, about seeking happiness even when the future is not a guarantee, and the fact that the storyline ends in reconciliation for Ella and her sister and their respective loves.
Episode 6x04 “Strange Case”
~ In situations where you feel powerless, cutting your hair can feel like a way of reclaiming control. So, it makes sense for Gold to take that action, even if it seems random.
~ Interesting to see Gold fixing a watch, and his shop full of clocks, considering the show’s name and theme!
~ Rumplestiltskin basically plays the same role in Jekyll’s story as he did in Frankenstein’s.
~ Gold sinks to new levels of abuse in this episode, imprisoning Belle in the name of protecting her.
~ It’s pretty significant that Gold is comfortable with Belle being with Hook on his ship, considering their history with Milah.
~ Leroy and David have a great, supportive little exchange.
~ Grumpy/Leroy has never articulated the dwarves’ job(s) as “protectors” before. I thought he was going to say that what they do best is work—they seem to gravitate toward physical labor, whether in the mines or in the magic bean fields.
~ “It’s the queen!” Nice little callback to the pilot episode!
~ It looks like Snow is now teaching middle or high school level, whereas during the curse she was teaching elementary school.
~ Now I’m wondering whether Storybrooke’s schools bother with actual certification or accreditation. Does Snow really know how to teach?
~ What is with Belle’s outfit? It looks like a nightgown, or hospital gown, or something for the beach or a maternity shoot.
~ Interesting that Hook is the one to save Belle, and Gold sees it!
~ The fact that Gold’s attempt to protect Belle ended up putting her in danger is so emblematic of their now-toxic relationship.
~ Considering how they set up the new arc with Regina and the Evil Queen, I wasn’t expecting Jekyll and Hyde’s story to end so quickly!
~ I like the framing of Regina and Emma’s profiles against the ocean.
~ David’s angst and mixed feelings about Hook and Emma’s relationship aren’t really resolved by the end of the episode.
~ I knew Shireen was Jasmine!
~ The credits list Tom Sawyer as a character! Where was he?
Episode 6x05 “Street Rats”
~ What is with the use of captions for time and location? They were hardly ever used before the previous season.
~ Aladdin’s accent sounds like that of someone from the lower class in some part of England.
~ I like Jasmine’s clothes very much, but she’s wearing way too much jewelry for someone in disguise or on a mission in the desert.
~ What did the Evil Queen mean about her and Archie being a good team? The fact that she forced him to do unethical things during the curse?
~ Jasmine and Aladdin’s argument scene is great! And he does the apple trick like in the movie!
~ The Evil Queen is like Satan, or Eris, sowing discord among Emma’s family, and either creating or exposing a lack of trust.
~ The heroes should remember that A) people have kidnapped and impersonated Archie before, and B) he would never betray a patient’s confidentiality.
~ They pay homage to two movies with a single prop!
~ Why would any villain with half a brain discuss their plans and motives in a public place, with other people right in front of them?
~ On the other hand, it’s interesting to see Zelena and any version of Regina talk about their children.
~ Why don’t the heroes rush to find Archie after realizing he’s missing?
~ Regina being the one to comfort someone who’s grieving is new!
~ There isn’t nearly enough spotlight on Hook in this episode, as he learns that Emma’s life may end because of her role as the Savior. But that shot of him looking back at her before leaving her in the crypt is beautiful and speaks volumes!
~ Emma and Henry’s scene is wonderful, and her turnaround makes sense. She wouldn’t change her attitude after hearing a “hope speech” from her parents, but she would do so in order to comfort and encourage her son.
~ Hook manages to turn a banal question like “Pizza or Chinese” into a profound moment: “Your heart’s desire, Swan. That’s all I want.”
~ I had thought that Hook was past keeping secrets, especially from Emma; but it makes sense that he would keep one with the intention of having a way to help/save Emma.
Episode 6x06 “Dark Waters”
~ I spent the whole episode confused about when the flashbacks take place. The opening caption says “At the time of the Dark Curse,” but Hook was frozen in time with Cora for the 28 years of the first Dark Curse being in effect. Did Hook leave Cora at some point(s) and resume traveling on the Jolly Roger after time started moving again, before Emma and Snow arrived in the Enchanted Forest? That’s the only explanation that would make sense of Liam II aging yet Hook still being on his quest for vengeance.
~ Hook wants so earnestly to be a good parental figure to Henry, making him a healthy breakfast and offering to play video games with him!
~ Henry is still ambivalent about Hook: one moment Henry sounds defensive against Hook, probably because he is still attached to his father; the next moment, he’s defensive of Hook when the Evil Queen taunts him.
~ If Belle is one trimester through her pregnancy, that suggests that the baby was conceived during her honeymoon in Season 4, not during her brief reconciliation with Gold in Season 5.
~ It’s interesting that Liam II followed in his brothers’ footsteps with a career at sea, only in an entirely different way.
~ Hook and Henry’s interactions and bonding are so good!
~ I’m glad that Liam II and Nemo reunited, but I wish there had been a little more time given for Liam’s reconciliation with Hook. A lifetime of suffering would not be forgiven that quickly.
~ Of course Emma would have done the same; she practically did the same with Excalibur!
~ Gold is quite bold to refer to Henry as Hook’s son in front of the Evil Queen!
Episode 6x07 “Heartless”
~ The fact that the Evil Queen can just waltz into the Charmings’ apartment and magic one of them away …
~ How did Snow meet the Blue Fairy prior to knowing the dwarves? And how did Snow not realize that the one she thought she met as a child was really an impostor, Cora? In Season 1 it is implied that the fairies joined Snow White’s fight because Blue owed Grumpy a favor after he let go of Nova.
~ The Blue Fairy throwing axes!?
~ Wilby and Longbourne sound like nods to Jane Austen!
~ The Evil Queen quoting that Dylan Thomas poem is unexpected but fitting!
~ It is a bit odd to see Hook be the one to give a pep talk/hope speech, but he makes a good point about Emma’s relationship to her parents. The time travel adventure gave her a unique role in bringing her parents together. In a way, she is as responsible for their relationship as it is responsible for her existence.
~ I tend not to like when the writers have characters meet only to forget about it later; but in this case it feels forgivable because they do figure out that it was each other!
~ Why would Gabriel leave Snow unattended in the prison wagon?
~ Belle makes a good point about the difference between being “pure evil” and being too weak to be good.
~ The Evil Queen really reconstructed the glass coffin just so Snow and David could play out that scene?
Episode 6x08 “I’ll Be Your Mirror”
~ It’s amazing to see Regina upset about Snow and David’s sleeping curse, when she was the one who originally put Snow under one!
~ That split-screen montage is so bittersweet, and unusually artistic cinematography for this show!
~ I wish we got to see Hook helping Henry figure out what to wear to the dance! That glimpse of Hook holding up a tie for him is such a tease.
~ The Evil Queen tying a tie around Henry’s neck while deceiving him is so symbolic!
~ When did Belle meet Jasmine and Aladdin?
~ How can Gold quote Cora saying “Love is weakness”? I thought his character couldn’t regress any more, but I was wrong.
~ Is the Dragon’s daughter Mulan?!
~ The Evil Queen really seems to have forgotten how Cora ruined her life, if she is now trying to shape Henry into a king.
~ Even though it’s part of a sinister, almost seductive conversation, I like that they finally addressed the fact that Henry is a prince, and that being royalty is about more than just birth.
~ It’s nice to see an episode focused on Henry, and on his relationship with his mothers! Their maternal love triangle was the main source of conflict in the first two seasons, and it’s wonderful to both revisit his childhood with Regina and see how much they have all grown. Emma and Regina talk about Henry like the coparents they have become.
~ Where was Hook this whole time? Did the Evil Queen knock him out only temporarily, so he was able to arrive just in time to restrain her?
~ Was Sidney once Aladdin’s genie?!
Episode 6x09 “Changelings”
~ From the beginning, the show has always played with the fact that Rumplestiltskin takes children through unfair deals, but never explained why. Is this episode supposed to answer that question?
~ Rumplestiltskin has a tapestry of the Visitation in his castle! How appropriate, since it’s a story about two pregnant women!
~ The Evil Queen finally has an outfit that I like! She looks more like a warrior now!
~ I never realized until now that a genie’s tie to his lamp, which enslaves him while giving him his power, is just like the Dark One’s tie to the dagger!
~ As can be the case in real life, the thing that keeps Gold from being loved and forgiven is the fact that he believes he can’t be loved or forgiven.
~ This must be the first time Emma actually assists a mother in labor and delivery! It’s beautiful to see, though a little odd to think that Emma’s own childbirth experience was with the newborn’s nephew.
~ Who knew it was possible to simultaneously feel so much hatred and sympathy for a character?
~ So is Belle still living on the Jolly Roger? Or do the fairies let her stay in the convent to recover from the birth?
Episode 6x10 “Wish You Were Here”
~ Regina really should have thought of a better version of her wish! For instance, instead of sending just herself, she could have sent Henry or someone else Emma and the others would have trusted.
~ How can Regina be so certain that the reality she is in is not real? How does she know the doppelgangers aren’t connected to their counterparts in Storybrooke?
~ It was way too easy for David to get hold of the lamp! And the Evil Queen could have just magicked it into her hand.
~ “We’ve been portalled!”
~ Princess Emma’s characterization really doesn’t make sense, even for an alternate reality. If her parents were brave heroes, and she was raising her son to be a knight, she would at least try to follow and set good examples of heroism. Surrendering the key to the kingdom in front of her parents makes no sense; they would have taught her the value of sacrifice and the importance of fighting for their people.
~ If the Dark Curse was not cast, how in all the realms did Emma meet Baelfire/Neal and have Henry with him at such a young age?
Episode 6x11 “Tougher Than the Rest”
~ They did a great job of casting a teenage August! He both looks and sounds like him.
~ Nottingham does the same thing as Gabriel, leaving the prisoners in transit just so they have an opportunity to escape.
~ Regina doesn't mention to Robin the fact that his other version had a son. That makes a huge difference in his identity!
~ Didn’t Emma and Regina learn from their experience with Marian/Zelena that you shouldn’t bring people across time and realities in order to save them?
~ Lana Parilla’s acting in a single shot, when she goes from grieving Robin to rejoicing at his arrival, is great!
~ How is it so easy for Emma to knock Gideon back with her magic and destroy the sword?
~ It looks like there is a carving of a swan on the shelf in Marco and August’s garage!
Episode 6x12 “Murder Most Foul”
~ This is one of the biggest episodes about David and his family, but also manages to move forward plot and character development for Hook and his relationship with Emma.
~ As twins, David and James probably both had trauma from being separated from each other as infants.
~ Emma is still wearing the same clothes she wore when Gideon was born!
~ I wonder how long Hook thought about proposing to Emma, how long he had that ring, and what made him decide to take that step at that point. I’m guessing her defeat of Gideon was a big part of it, as he had been afraid that she would die.
~ Did Hook actually buy the ring, as Archie assumes? How could he afford it? Does he have any savings or income at this point?
~ Regina has a piano in her home! Does she play, or Henry?
~ Why couldn’t Regina heal Robin’s slight wound?
~ What David asks Hook to do really is awful: betray the trust of the woman he loves in order to make a good impression with her father and maintain the friendship they have.
~ Is that the Golden Fleece in Rumplestiltskin’s castle?
~ So Pinocchio existed when David was only six years old?! But he was still a little boy when Emma was born. Does that mean he lived as a wooden puppet for a couple decades before he became real?
~ David handcuffs Hook just like Emma has on so many occasions! Pretty crummy way to treat the guy who just did so much to help him.
~ David never addresses the fact that he sent his brother into the River of Lost Souls, which is supposed to be even worse than death.
~ Why would David challenge George (or anyone) to a duel with knives rather than swords?
~ David’s monologue is fantastic, and some of the best acting we’ve seen from Josh Dallas in this show!
~ For Hook, of all people, to talk someone down from exacting revenge is amazing!
~ David is terrified by the idea that even his best effort might not be good enough. David’s fear is actually one that he shares with Emma and Hook: that he won’t be enough to protect the people he loves.
~ The big question is, why does Robert’s ghost appear to David at that time? And why didn’t David find him, or at least his tombstone, in the Underworld? It’s as ambiguous as Hamlet’s father’s ghost in the play from which this episode seems to draw its inspiration.
~ The blessing scene is so excellent! The only weird thing is David calling Hook old-fashioned, when in the past Hook called David old-fashioned about his expectations for Emma’s relationships.
~ It seems like a stretch for Hook to recognize someone he killed on a dark rainy night decades earlier. It might have been easier to believe that he could recognize a trinket like the lucky coin; but he does not recognize it the whole time he and David are handling it.
~ I would have expected the episode to end with Hook looking at the pages, but having it end with him closing the engagement ring box is even more ominous!
Episode 6x13 “Ill-Boding Patterns”
~ It’s cool to see Beowulf appear in OUAT!
~ It’s so strange to see Gold discourage someone from giving in to their inner darkness. He practically drove Cora, Regina, and Zelena into it, and a vision of him urged Emma to embrace her magic as the Dark One.
~ Since when does Regina wear hats that match her outfits? Is she picking up aspects of Zelena’s style?
~ Regina being willing to let Robin go in order to find his happiness is huge character development from the woman who enslaved Graham and tried to kidnap Owen for the sake of her own happiness.
~ I can’t believe they gave Baelfire a storyline about “going dark”! I don’t like it when they use memory-altering magic to create a storyline only to erase a character’s arc; but it says a lot about Rumple that he was willing to let Baelfire blame him rather than himself.
~ It feels odd for Emma to be absent for most of an episode, only appearing in one scene where she is ignorant of the full truth of the situation.
~ Even when split from Regina, the Evil Queen is proud of her town!
Episode 6x14 “Page 23”
~ I bet Henry asked for details about Hook’s proposal because he wants to get ideas for his own in the future!
~ I’m glad to see Nemo still acting as a friend and mentor to Hook, but their scene basically plays out the same way as Hook’s scene with Archie in the previous episode.
~ Why does Henry Senior ask “what are you doing” when Regina hardly moved?
~ The scene with Emma and Hook was inevitable, but I’m surprised it took place in the middle of the episode rather than at the end. Why did Emma come home at that point, after learning that Regina was going to face the Evil Queen? Was she coming to get Hook so he could be part of the action?
~ I like how the conflict between Emma and Hook is more complicated than just her being mad about what he did to her grandfather. She’s upset about the fact that he kept it a secret, not necessarily because it was dishonest, but because it shows his doubt about the strength of their relationship.
~ “Destinations never matter” is a pretty strong absolute statement, and contradicts Nemo's previous goal to find a permanent home.
~ I knew the arrow was going to lead Regina to face herself! But why did it not lead to her magic mirror? That would have been a fantastic tie-in with the themes and symbols of the original Snow White story.
~ Regina literally fighting herself, and then embracing herself, is amazing!!!
~ I LOVE Snow and Hook’s scene! They hardly ever interact with each other, and I don’t think they’ve ever had a scene with just the two of them. It makes sense that she would be the one to renew his hope that he can be forgiven and deserving of love.
~ It feels odd for Nemo to appear, and even mention Liam, without Liam himself showing up, when Hook is wrestling with so much guilt about his past. Liam would have stirred up all kinds of feelings about guilt and atonement.
Episode 6x15 “A Wondrous Place”
~ Wouldn’t “Let’s go fishing” be more fitting than “Let’s go hunting”? Or is kraken not a fish?
~ Hook almost acts parental with Jasmine and Aladdin, telling them to “Get on board before you get yourselves killed” and encouraging her to face her fear.
~ I would expect Henry to do more than sit around with his headphones in and ask “Are you okay?” when his mom is going through a heartbreak.
~ When and why did Emma stop wearing Hook’s ring pendant? Did she give it back to him when they both returned to Storybrooke?
~ Snow refers to her son as a toddler, but he can’t be more than a few months old, maybe a year at most!
~ I like that Hook and Liam II have a goodbye hug, but I wish they had more scenes together! Despite sparing him in their fight, Liam has not really been shown forgiving Hook or accepting him as his brother.
~ Jasmine mentions Scheherazade!!! About time a female storyteller got some credit!
~ How does Ariel’s flashback storyline fit in with her present-day story in Season 3? Did she not tell Eric about her mermaid identity when they reunited in Storybrooke?
~ While I wish Aladdin had been a more active character this season, it is cool to see Jasmine be the one to defeat Jafar!
Episode 6x16 “Mother’s Little Helper”
~ I can’t see Emma allowing Gideon into her home when Henry is there.
~ The Black Fairy is way too giggly. They speak of how evil she is, but she acts like a school bully.
~ Wait, so the Dragon did make it out of the mirror?
~ The way Hook says “civilized” reminds me of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but betting a ship in a game of cards seems like Han Solo and Lando Calrissian!
~ Would Blackbeard really carry something as powerful and valuable as a magic bean in his hat?
~ Captain Hook running from Lost Boys seems a bit undignified.
~ How ironic Gold saves Emma’s life in the very same manor where he tried to kill her!
~ How can Emma tell a parent that their child cannot be saved?!
~ If the heroes left behind the Lost Boys who remained loyal to Pan, why did they take Felix with them when they left Neverland?
~ Having Gideon be controlled by the Black Fairy via his heart may preserve his innocence, but also undermines all his motivation in the last few episodes. Whose idea was it for him to impersonate Aesop?
~ The Black Fairy’s dress at the end of the episode looks like spiderwebs! I guess spiders are kind of her motif, like the Other Mother in Coraline.
Episode 6x17 “Awake”
~ “Who said this was a rescue?” had me laughing out loud!
~ Emma and Snow wear similar shirts in this episode, black with white collars!
~ What caused the pixie flower to grow at that point, ten years after the curse was cast? Did some evil arrive that caused it to appear?
~ The idea that people woke up from the curse before Emma broke it really undermines the significance of her role.
~ Did David have fake memories when he first woke up from his coma? Did he understand the technology of this world?
~ Who is that police officer/security guard? Shouldn’t it be Graham as the sheriff?
~ David’s confidence that Hook is fighting for Emma is beautiful!
~ Hook references the Tiger Lily at Skull Rock incident from the book Peter Pan!
~ How could there be so many Lost Boys left behind on Neverland? There weren’t nearly that many in season 3!
~ “Why is it never past their bloody bedtime?” Hook must have had more than his share of hearing the Lost Boys’ parties!
~ The pig and the conch seem like allusions to Lord of the Flies, which is also about boys stranded on an island!
~ Emma shows great character growth in that she understands and forgives her parents giving up the chance to raise her in order to let her save the rest of their community.
~ I had to look up Geppetto/Marco’s toast, “Cent’Anni.” It is a traditional Italian toast meaning “May You Live 100 Years.” That is so beautiful in the context of Snow and Charming’s sleeping curse!
~ The distribution of the sleeping curse in a chalice seems like a strange inversion of the Eucharist (aka Communion or the Lord’s Supper). They are aware of Snow and Charming’s sacrifice for them, and they choose to sacrifice for them in return. It also reminds me of Paradise Lost, when Adam learns that Eve has eaten the forbidden fruit, and chooses to eat it in order to share in her curse rather than be separated from her.
Episode 6x18 “Where Bluebirds Fly”
~ This may be the first Zelena-focused episode that I remotely like!
~ Honestly, Snow and David should understand why Emma and Hook would want some privacy. Both couples just reunited after being separated for a while, and the sleeping curse was going on even longer than Hook’s disappearance!
~ Does Regina just regularly go to Gold and/or Belle to stock up on potion ingredients?
~ Emma and Hook are so sappy and shameless at this point! And their bemused expressions as David and Snow argue over them are hilarious!
~ Hook is a good man to put up with his future in-laws’ bickering over his wedding; but he could have been a little more assertive about what he and Emma want rather than what Snow wants.
~ “If this is about Hook, that ship has sailed, and there’s a pirate on it, deal with it!”
~ David’s monologue is wonderful, but Snow’s reaction, expressing doubt about the outcome of the Final Battle, seems out-of-character for her.
~ Baby Robin’s care is a throughline of this episode, but who is taking care of baby Neal while his parents plan his sister’s wedding?
~ Emma saying Robin is “one of us” in the presence of only Regina and Zelena made me wonder if Robin might be a magic wielder like them!
~ I am surprised that they actually had Zelena give up her magic. When Emma tried to do that in Season 4, it was portrayed as a terrible thing, indicative of self-loathing. And magic has had such a huge impact on Zelena’s life and identity, for her to give it up is a huge personal sacrifice. I’m not sure we’ve seen her reach the point of being able to do something like that unless it was for her child’s direct benefit.
~ I like that Belle has a subtle arc in this episode, with her role as a babysitter having some relevance at the end.
Episode 6x19 “The Black Fairy”
~ I never thought we would see grown-up Peter Pan again!
~ The candles flicker out for a moment when Rumple is born, just like how the electric lights flickered when Henry and Neal were born!
~ The baby really does look like Rumple and Pan!
~ If Tiger Lily was Rumple’s fairy godmother, that raises a lot of questions about her relationships with Pan and Hook in Neverland. Did she recognize Pan as Rumple's de-aged father? Did she know about Hook’s quest for revenge on the person she was supposed to safeguard? Did she try to sabotage Hook, in order to protect her charge?
~ It's funny and interesting to hear Regina and Zelena talk about living without magic. But how are electric lights more barbaric than candles or whatever means they used in their respective lands?
~ Regina really got Zelena a monkey key chain!
~ Gold should know that Hook would be outraged at him for putting Emma into a magic sleep of any kind!
~ Is “Dreams are a maze” an unsubtle reference to Inception?
~ Gold says it's a "luxury" to "always do the right thing." That sounds like John Paul II's definition of freedom!
~ Zelena says "boody hell" now!
~ Regina asking Zelena to look after Henry is amazing, but the timing of it in the middle of their comical driving lesson feels awkward. And shouldn’t Emma also be part of the conversation about who would raise Henry if his parents died? And wouldn't Henry have some reservations about starting a new life with the woman who killed his father?
~ "Do this for me, so that no mother will ever be ripped from her child." Was that a veiled threat? Or did Fiona really want to prevent the separation that she eventually caused for so many?
~ It’s interesting to see Emma (attempt to) bond with Gold, of all people, over the experience of being an orphan.
~ Granny’s being the heart of Storybrooke … makes sense on some level, but could have benefited from more setup or acknowledgement of it as such.
~ “Jukebox?” “Jukebox.”
~ Finally, someone introduces the idea of passwords to confirm identity! They have fallen prey to too many magical impostures.
~ I find it a bit hard to believe that Regina never killed a fairy during her reign of terror.
~ Regina is wearing light colors when she faces off against the Black Fairy!
~ While it’s a bit of a stretch to believe that a fairy can be bested with a car crash, Zelena coming in to save Regina that way was both awesome and hilarious!
~ I don’t like the idea that the Dark Curse was created by the Black Fairy rather than Rumplestiltskin. Was he playing into her hand by finding someone to cast it, just as Regina played into his hand by casting it? That kind of behind-the-scenes manipulation isn’t needed since it was already there.
~ So after turning Granny’s upside-down, the heroes just have a relaxing dinner there? And they don’t even stand up when Gold informs them that he killed his own mother to protect them? They don’t seem very appreciative!
~ When and why did they decide to hold the wedding so soon? They just talked about postponing it! Most people wait at least a few months, and all that planning and arranging that had Mary Margaret so excited takes time!
~ Belle should recognize that Gold is singing the same tune he always has, saying that everything he does is to protect his family.
~ Hook asking Henry to be his best man is such a great moment! They started out mainly caring about each other because of their connections to Emma and Neal, but they’ve developed a real friendship and respect for each other.
~ What happened to the Blue Fairy?! Did the Black Fairy really torture her to get the information on the wand? Did Gold really restore her to the other fairies?
Episode 6x20 “The Song in Your Heart”
~ The title sequence is similar to the wedding episode of Steven Universe, with an orchestra tuning their instruments!
~ This whole episode is wonderful! The hilarity of seeing the characters break into song, and be self-aware about it, helps offset the heaviness of the present-day plot, where Emma’s wedding day and her entire future are both at stake. But the theme of music also serves a purpose for the plot, and gives Emma an epiphany about her life, her inner strength, and her relationship with her parents. Music lovers know that there is something powerful, almost sacred, about it, and having that explored in the context of OUAT is really interesting.
~ The musical numbers do an impressive job walking the line between parody and earnestness. They represent each of the characters well, and are just plain fun to watch.
~ Hook is the only one who wholeheartedly embraces the singing without questioning it or finding it strange.
~ I can’t tell if Zelena is self-aware about her song or if it is one of those musical numbers that just represents her interior thoughts.
~ Zelena’s actions in the flashbacks don’t really make sense.
~ How can Emma run away when her fiancé, parents, and friends are frozen in the Black Fairy’s custody? Why does the Black Fairy let her go instead of threatening to kill them then and there?
~ Emma tries to do the same thing Henry did in season 3, giving up her heart to one of Rumplestiltskin’s parents.
~ Emma seems like the last person to embrace singing, as she’s always been the most resistant to magic, emotion, and vulnerability. So it’s really significant that the climax of her journey involves her finding power through a song.
~ Emma’s song is the first in the episode that doesn’t feel like it’s half playing for laughs: the music is powerful, and the lyrics are completely serious and show Emma’s growth as a character. She has not only forgiven her parents, she has come to believe that they were right to give her up, because she needed to fulfill her role as the Savior.
~ “A Happy Beginning” is just perfect. The characters understand that there are still challenges ahead they need to face, yet they enjoy the moment, look to the future with hope, and commit to stand with each other through whatever comes.
~ Archie and Marco are both at the wedding, but August is nowhere to be seen! He must have been present off-camera, because there is no way he would miss Emma’s wedding.
~ I thought I heard several subtle references to songs from other musicals, including “Let It Go” from Frozen, and “On My Own” and “A Heart Full of Love” from Les Misérables
Episode 6x21 “The Final Battle Part 1”
~ Is that David’s sword, the one Emma used to slay Maleficent? Is that why they included those clips in the recap?
~ Why is Henry always exempt from the Dark Curse(s)? Did Fiona choose to keep him in Storybrooke so she could use him as leverage over Emma? Letting him retain his memories and the storybook seems like too much of a risk.
~ There seem to be way more asylum patients, and a much better facility for them, in this curse’s version of Storybrooke.
~ Emma taking her medicine gives big Matrix vibes.
~ When Hook wakes up, the first thing he does is look at his hand to see if his wedding ring is still there!
~ How is the Charmings’ old castle standing? Wasn’t it destroyed in the first curse? Didn’t Emma and Snow see it in ruins when they went there in Season 2?
~ Having Hook face the beanstalk again is a great way to get the characters to reflect on the beginning of his relationship with Emma. His speech to David is full of emotion and accurately summarizes what made his and Emma’s relationship so compelling, both similar and different from other love stories in fairy tales.
~ Henry acknowledges that Hook is Emma’s true love!
~ Even when she doesn’t believe him, Emma still loves and appreciates Henry so much.
~ Finally, they addressed the fact that Wish Snow and Charming were killed!
~ So Wish Robin, who was a selfish scoundrel, still met Friar Tuck at some point? Why do they never show this friar?!
~ Henry’s smile is so proud when Fiona talks about how hard it is to get Emma to stop believing.
~ Hook and David have a nice moment in the giants’ castle, but the context feels contrived. And that “obstacle course” isn’t all that difficult for Hook to overcome.
~ Is that dragon supposed to be Maleficent?
Episode 6x22 “The Final Battle Part 2”
~ Hook calling Snow “Mummy” is funny, but it feels a bit immature and regressive after he’s come so far in his relationship with Emma’s parents.
~ There is absolutely no need for Snow to say “It’s important.” Hook knows how bloody important it is!
~ I wish Hook and David’s climb ended up making an actual difference in the plot.
~ Unlike when Emma first tried to leave Storybrooke, nothing impedes her when she drives away this time. Fate does not intervene with a wolf or some other distraction or obstacle.
~ It looks like Henry can draw, just like his father and paternal grandmother!
~ Having Snow and Charming reverse roles and play out the true love’s kiss awakening was not necessary. They already did that back in season 2, and they revisited the sleeping curse imagery throughout this season. There is no uncertainty about the strength and authenticity of their love, so it does not carry any real suspense.
~ Is that the mirror from Beauty and the Beast?
~ What was that shot of Emma barging into the mayor’s office with the sword for? Did she intend to use it against Fiona?
~ How can light snuff out light? It doesn’t make sense.
~ Gold kills Fiona way too easily. How can she be defeated by her own wand? Does it work like the Dark One dagger, being the only thing that can destroy its owner? And why is Fiona’s death the event that breaks the curse, rather than Emma coming to believe?
~ Why did the writers have Belle reunite with Gold only for her to be left behind while he has his final temptation? Why not just have them reunite after?
~ Where did Emma get the beanie? Did she pause to put it on while running from Gideon with the sword?
~ Hook saying they should kill Gideon makes no sense. He was there when Gideon was born; Gideon is Belle's son and Baelfire/Neal's brother; and they know that he’s not in control of himself. Hook knows what that is like from his own experience of someone controlling his heart.
~ David calling Gideon an SOB is actually insulting Belle!
~ Emma’s declaration of who and what she is reminds me of a line from Peter Pan declaring his identity to Captain Hook: “I’m youth, I’m joy.”
~ The climax and resolution happen way too quickly.
~ I think Hook should have been the one to kiss and awaken Emma. Yes, Henry doing it is a nice parallel to her waking him in Season 1, but their relationship had been solid and unquestioned for years, and he had already served a heroic role in the finale by getting Emma to believe. In contrast, Hook had just married Emma a day earlier, after many ups and downs in their relationship, and he had failed to break curses by kissing her on two previous occasions (in season 3 and season 5). Plus, his whole adventure in the previous episode yielded no real effect on the plot. Having him be the one to say “I love you” and kiss Emma to restore her to life would have been more fulfilling for both the plot and the characters’ relationship. Plus, if he thought she was gone for good, it could have been a really emotional growing moment for Hook, seeing his love sacrifice herself for him and everyone else, and respecting that in spite of losing her. Then the kiss would have been completely based on how he felt, not on any pragmatic hope as in the previous cases.
~ Gideon turning into a baby again feels like the kind of false solution Gold proposed to his other son. He offered to make Neal a teenage boy again so they could have a do-over. Does turning into a baby again erase all of Gideon’s memories, the experiences that shaped him? (I can hardly call it character development since his character was not really well written.)
~ Was that Tinker Bell? Did she return to Neverland after all?
~ I’m glad that David is the one taking care of Neal now, instead of him being left with a babysitter while both his parents work!
~ Violet is waiting for Henry at the bus stop! But it’s such a fleeting glimpse it’s easy to miss.
~ Emma making Hook her deputy is excellent! He has come such a long way in his life, from indentured servant to navy man to pirate to law enforcement.
~ The dwarves making new signage for Regina’s door is sweet, but giving her the title of queen again seems weird. Snow and David are the real leaders of Storybrooke, and there are other princes and princesses there too. If they want to have an official leader, they really ought to be elected.
~ Having Gold and Belle dance to the music from “Beauty and the Beast” is sweet, but they’ve done it before, and their reconciliation doesn’t really feel earned after how much he put her through. How does she know if she can trust him now? Does he still have the Dark One dagger?
~ The only thing that seems missing from the montage is a shot of the Jolly Roger. Hook may not live there anymore, but I’m sure it would still be a part of his new family’s life.
~ That last shot of everyone sitting on one side of a long table is just like Da Vinci’s “Last Supper”! After all the jokes and sarcastic comments about family dinners in this show (“Maybe one day they’ll invite you to dinner,” “It’s a good thing we didn’t have Thanksgiving in our land,” etc.) it’s amazing to see them all come together for a meal—even those who have killed each other's loved ones and/or tried to kill each other.
~ Honestly, that last scene of Lucy knocking on Henry’s door would not have been a terrible place to end the series. Then, if the writers wanted, they could have told Lucy’s story in a separate spin-off.

The Princess and the runaway Princess pt. 12
It was night time before Killian and Cora departed the Jolly Roger. Killian had two things in mind skinning his crocodile and finding me. Maybe he was going to find Rumplestiltskin first but then Cora made him realize magic was in the town. Killian walked with Cora to look around the town but he tried figuring out where I was. I hung something special in my window, a trinket given to me by Kilian himself so when he came across it he smiled.
"my girls room is right there." Killian said
"how do you know Captain?" Cora asked
"she hangs something in her window, an item given to her by me." Killian said
When morning came I awoke from the bed still in my clothes from yesterday. I yawned but my senses told me someone was there so my first instinct was to use my sword. As I looked seeing Killian standing by my door so I put it away.
"how'd you get in?" Amira asked
Killian merely showed me his hook something I'm not surprised about. "I know all your Alias luv"
As I got up I walked over to him and kissed him. "welcome to Storybrooke Captain." Amira said
Killian merely smirked as he picked me up and kissed me. I knew him too well to know exactly what was on his mind since we'd been separated for twenty eight years. He ended up taking me to the ship for privacy reasons and so no one knew he was there. I had no arguments clearly.
So most of my day was spent with him but I saw the note from snow. I checked my phone seeing there was a welcome home party. So I knew I had to make an appearance but as I got up I felt the arm around me tighten pulling me closer to him as I looked meeting eyes with Killian.
"where you going luv?" Killian asked me
"I have to go to the welcome home party." Amira said as I kissed him "you don't want anyone knowing you're here yet so you can't come with me."
"I'd prefer having my girl to myself for awhile." Killian said
As much as I knew I would love to stay with him if I didn't show up Snow would question. Not to mention I was getting really hungry at the time so I carefully removed his arm and started to get dressed.
"I would love to stay but I need to eat. I have to think of the child." Amira said
Killian pulled me into a kiss and that distracted me. So by the time I went to the party I had to stay in my pirate attire as I walked in. The decorations were amazing and I smiled at everyone. Many people gave me a hug which I returned, Smee and I exchanged looks. I stayed with the non alcoholic drinks which seemed to alert Smee as he went over by me.
"Selena, did you find the Captain during your time?" Smee asked
"I did. He's here." Amira said as I took a sip of the drink.
Everyone seemed quiet when Regina came in which I didn't care either way. Keeping the peace was nice though as we all made our way to get some food sitting down. I only went for one plate full but when I sat down Snow put a second plate in front of me.
"Snow thanks but I'm not that hungry." Amira said clearly lying.
"You're lying and you neglected eating well for twenty eight years. The baby needs nutrition." Snow said
I wish she hadn't said that cause I saw everyone and I mean crew included looking at our table. I never announced it like Snow did, I walked from royalty to be a pirate so my pregnancy was my own to handle. Leroy or Grumpy came over to the table and I waited to hear what he had to say.
"look sister you're Snow's little sister and we treat Snow like family so you're family too." Leroy said
"Thanks Leroy but I'll stick with the crew. No offence but I walked from being princess." Amira said
"forgive me but you are still a princess to the people. Even if you still don't see it." Leroy said
I couldn't come up with any words as I are what was in front of me. Of course I didn't know I was being watched either by Killian but it probably reminded him that even though I left home swore loyalty to him I'm still looked at as what I was. after eating I got up socializing with the crew and the people at Granny's Diner. I noticed Regina sitting alone before she was going out to leave. I saw Emma go out and I walked out there looking at the lights as I sat down wanting away from well questions.
"You don't want to go inside for cake?" Emma asked me
"not yet. I just needed air." Amira said
Emma nod then went inside but Smee came out and I wasn't in the mood for talking. I saw him sit across from me clearly wanting to know about Killian but he didn't ask right away anything till he was ready.
"so what did the Captain say?" Smee asked "this child your carrying, it's the Captains"
"Smee when the Captain wants you to know he's here. You'll know. As for the child, clearly you know the answer." Amira said
I wasn't in the mood for talking, not about this child. Also my sister didn't know it but I was gonna refuse to see Whales. I don't trust the guy, I would rather have a midwife than go to that guy who isn't a real doctor. Smee went back inside as I stayed there thinking of what I was going to do but than Snow came out placing a piece of cake and sitting where Smee was earlier.
"he's here isn't he?" Snow asked
"who's here?" Amira asked her
"your Captain, no one seen you before the party. Granny said your room was quite like you weren't even in there." Snow said
"I had errands to do." another lie I knew she'd see past
"you didn't have Errands Ami. You were in bed with your Captain clearly." Snow said
Yep that was my sister could read me like a book just like Killian could. She believed in giving people a second chance or letting love guide but I wasn't the same Amira she knew and I knew that considering my parents wouldn't approve of my choice of a lover not having a child out of Wedlock. After having my cake I stood up.
"I'm going home Sis." Amira said
"going home to you apartment or to your old Cabin?" Snow asked
"I haven't decided." Amira said
I started walking to figure out where I was going to go. My mind was conflicted but soon the decision you could say was made for me. I suddenly felt someone pick me up carrying me and when I looked I saw Killian.
"hello luv. Smee giving you trouble?" Killian asked
"nothing I can't handle. I see you were watching me from afar." Amira said
Killian smirked "I have my own reasons for being here. The crocodile I'll skin and well you gave me more reason to be here."
"where to?" Amira asked
"the jolly Roger of course." Killian said as he took me to the ship.
A lot was on my mind on the way to the ship. How long could I hide him from sight? Could I avoid the questions about my pregnancy for awhile now that Snow pretty much made it known. Killian seemed to notice my silence but didn't ask me any questions at least not for the first few minutes.
"So luv, where are your favorite places in this town?" Killian asked
"the diner, the pier, sometimes my apartment." Amira said
"what did you do for the last 28 years?" Killian asked
"for the first half of that time I was a waitress till Regina forced me to quit. The last half I was forced to work as Regina's assistant. Something I'll quit and go back to the first job for awhile." Amira answered.
Killian seemed to find it funny "I don't see you as the serving wench type."
It was true, back home there were many bar keeps that wanted or needed help. I had sat with the crew in my seat each time it happened. My seat at the table towards closer to the curse would of always been by Killian and he made it clear he wasn't handing me over to some bar keep. Still I smiled and curled closer to him as we made it to the Jolly Roger and he walked on the ship still carrying me and made it below deck as he took us to his Cabin.
"so luv we should talk." Killian said as he placed me on his bed and then climbed in beside me.
"like what? I have you the reason I didn't tell you." Amira said
"yes well we should plan for the child." Killian said as his hand went to my stomach which made me blush
"it's too early to plan anything and besides I refuse to see the only doctor in town." Amira said
My words seemed to of caught him by surprise, truth be told I didn't like whales and nothing could change my mind. Killian knew ways of persuasian to get me to agree to what he wanted but it didn't mean I liked it.
"stay away from the crocodile but keep out of Cora's sight. She knows your mine. But it doesn't mean she won't try to cross me." Killian said
"you know thats completely true. But I will avoid going near the dark one or Cora as much as possible." Amira said
Killian put a hand on my cheek as my eyes met with his. There were quite a few things I could of done in that moment. Tell him off for all those women he flirted with in front of me but I knew it wasn't right. I also considered my apartment was small so moving was on my mind.
"now that I have you back luv. I'm never letting you go, no matter where you go I will find me." Killian said
"I know you will. Captain~" Amira said
We ended up in a heated make out which I didn't mind. I knew how my sister felt about her husband even if I wasn't Killian's wife I knew he loved me. Even with him wanting his revenge once it was done he had something now to complete his life. This baby was our chance. Nothing could change how I felt about him and I'd fight to keep him with me.
"Get some rest luv." Killian said
Amira nod as I layed down going to sleep. He kept his arm around me watching me for a bit.

you might want to toss Pachinko into the trash first if only so he won't try to interrupt your rambling to bring attention to himself /J BUT FR HERE OMG PLEASE SHARE THAT RAMBLE AS SOON AS YOU CAN
YOUR OC LEROY HAS ALWAYS BEEN AMONG MY FAVORITES AND GOSH IT ALWAYS MAKES ME FEEL SO HAPPY TO HEAR MORE ABOUT HIM 💖💖💖💖💖
Tbh Keno's there first. Making me lazy and game instead of rambles
It's been primarily Leroy with Tsuri (with some Naomi for extra spice), cuz I've been seeing them more in a fluff/healthy sense than what I had before. Tsuri constantly being mean to Leroy so that Leroy can focus on someone else, but Leroy's too attached and toying with Tsuri as well
Now? Tsuri's actually being honest with his feelings, and Leroy being.. somewhat hesitant now. "Is it ok to just sit on his lap and be wrapped in his arms? To rest my head on his chest and.. do nothing? Just relax and be at ease and.. say 'I love you' without feeling like it's all a lie?"
But I kinda feel like a bad person cuz although I genuinely see Leroy and Tsuri as a couple, I still love when Leroy and Naomi fool around. I like the rivalry she and Tsuri have over Leroy. They may not have a couple, but she's the second closest person to Leroy, and that's no easy feat.
Probably cuz I'm a multi/polyship lover, it's still easy to ship it like that. Leroy loves to kiss and play around with Naomi and go on cute dates, but when Tsuri's back, it's farewell kisses, and into the arms of a grumpy and jealous redhead. Tsuri doesn't hate Naomi per se (he'd do everything he could to kill her if he felt it necessary), but.. goddammit, that's HIS Pudding. Stop touching him
Leroy loves their attention, so he doesn't deny it.

For the emoji ask game:🍊 and 🍐
Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…)
Jefferson, definitely. He’s got so many personalities - almost as many as Rumpelstiltskin, with a fraction of the screen time. I’d love to spend more time with him.
Is there anything in canon that you absolutely hate and love to fix in fics? A wrong choice made, a fuck-up in characterization, a misunderstanding never cleared up, a conversation never shown onscreen, etc…
At this point, I basically avoid canon altogether; all it does is remind me of all the parts that suck. If I were to choose one (apart from the obvious “don’t kill Neal and negate the whole premise of the show”), I have to say it’d be Lacey. Just… the whole concept of Lacey. The idea of a darker Belle who feeds into Rumpelstiltskin’s worst side is an intriguing one, but Lacey… isn’t that. She’s just everything Gold isn’t supposed to like, which is basically yet another case of the show reducing Belle to “whatever causes Rumpelstiltskin the most stress.” I mean… where’s the poetry? Mary Margaret has all of Snow’s kindness, but none of her courage. David has all of his love for Snow, but none of the conviction. Ruby has Red’s animal side, but makes her a wolf who rejects her own pack. Leroy is still grumpy, but he doesn’t have his brothers.
Lacey has none of that. She’s just, in my opinion, a poorly-written bad girl character whom we’re supposed to slut shame. The true tragedy of the curse is that we’re supposed to see glimpses of the characters’ true selves. Apart from the whole “person in the present repeating a line they said in the past” thing, I see no trace of Belle in Lacey.
Anyway - I don’t want to go into how I would write that differently, because that’s a spoiler for one of my WIPs ;)
Thanks for the asks!
